It's a BEAUTIFUL morning!

My week will bring me lots and lots of evening meetings, and lovely temperate weather. Not too hot, not too cool, and a chance to wear sweatshirts in the mornings.

I have a few tasks to tend to this morning, a staff meeting and some work, taking photos of my gardens for reports, contact a few people, work on sprucing up the back yard and potting two cream grocery store (inexpensive-dare-I-say-cheap?) Mumms I picked up for the front porch, working on those reports?

Pick up the older girls, Mira's violin lesson at a normal time. PTA meeting starting at 6:30, Women's circle starting at 7 (I'll be late but I'll be there).

Hello all.

Life has been crazy hectic here. Tons of stuff going on at home, work, and school.

Today in 20 minutes we have our annual secuirty audit.

Yesterday I had smiley for 4 hours, we started at the park and did her 9 month photos, it was cloudy and gray out. then we went home to play.

scouts tonight. tests tomorrow at school.

girl scouts starts next week. my schedule is so full that most months we are only having 1 meeting.

in mid october diva has an 8 week night class that starts so we will have smiley ever wednesday evening.

next semester it will be every thursday.  She will be done with her first degree at the end of next school year.

boys are doing good so far.  still gotta get quinn to get his drivers license.

wish teenageitits would leave C.

oh and on P starting school again. he has missed more days than he has been there. and he and his friend and wife all did home tattoos. i really feel bad for the wife. they put his name on her arm. its awful. and they will probably all get infections and be sick from it. so yeah things are going great there. making awesome life choices huh. OY

MJ sounds like you have a busy week ahead.

I hope everyone is doing well.

Take care.

This week looks lovely, weather-wise.  Have some full days, but following the work is some relaxation and being present for my youth.  And hopefully, getting back into routine with the house and with food/exercise ... the weekend was a bit off.  Also, Yadi has gone back home, so -- as much as I love him -- it also means I'm not saying every five minutes, "Get down, Yadi!'  or "Show me."  (when he wants to go out, he jumps on my legs, so to get him down, I say "Show me!" and he runs to the door) and ""Get in, Yadi." (crate)  I am NOT a household pet person!!!!!  (but he IS sooooo darn cute!)

Today

housekeeping to get things cleaned up from the weekend

I want to get something in the crock pot for dinner

a little balcony time here at home to have some basic schedules in place each week through the end of December with an awareness of things on the calendar because I want to schedule the rest of my vacation, and I need to know where I'm scheduling things around that vacation before I ask

deliver the rose for the new baby on my way to the office

Staff meeting, part A

home

That's all I've got.  :smileyhappy:  have a good one~

Hmmm, I would say we have a couple more hot days here before it starts to get nicer; 88 today and 92 tomorrow.

Michelle, sounds like a long day.  Hope all goes well.

Stacy, glad to see you back.  I hope things have calmed down a little.  Ugh, and the security audit doesn't sound fun; hope it goes well and quickly.

Geo, hope you have a good day too and can find time to fit in your vacation.  I have one (unscheduled) day left for this year.  I'm going to keep it open for awhile; see if I need it sometime.  I can carry it over to next year too, so I don't *have* to take it.

Oye, I don't think we knew what we were getting in to with one act.  Em has practice every Monday and Tuesday night from 6-9 and every other Sunday from 3-7.  Which wouldn't be bad at all if there was nothing else going on.  But there is.  Today she has a cross country meet near Fremont; she runs at 4:30.  Other groups run later, so although she will have a ride there, she will have to be picked up after her race and taken to the school.  Probably stop somewhere along the way to get her something to eat.  Sarah is going to after school today; DH will pick her up and take her to volleyball.  We will have supper (the three of us) after volleyball practice is over at 7.

After supper, I would like to get papers picked out for some layouts.  I might also paint my nails.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Karen I wish I could gift you some of my vacation time, I get 27 paid days plus 9 paid holidays and I never use them all...

You want a few of them?

Wow, Stacy, that is awesome!  I'm actually feeling pretty happy still to have *any* vacation days, since up until September of last year I didn't get any (well, I could take time off, but didn't get paid for it).  I have 3 days scheduled right now at Thanksgiving, so I do have some time off coming up.

If you are thinking of leaving your positition, I would be taking those vacation days!  Unless they have to pay you for them when you leave.

Hey, have you made any progress on flights?

No progress on flights. the options are just not good. it would help if it wasn't 2 hours to the closest airport. so by the time i get there and be early and fly and connect and actually get to des moines I could have just driven... there are no non-stops at all. so I am not sure what to do at this point.....

I mustn't forget to get gas over lunch! If I forget, you will have to send a search party for me over eastern Nebraska.

Phooey. I know I have mentioned it before, but Omaha is another option. Not that I would expect it to be any better.

Flight times are 4-6 hours. I would need to leave 3 hours before take off.
Why can't it be simple??? I just want a flight that leaves after work Friday and gets me there before midnight! LOL
