Stacy, hope you feel better soon. Let us know when you find out what is wrong.
Today was my free day. I was going to let the busses bring the kids home to see low long that would take.
Then our "free day" turned into a crazy busy Monday. So I didn't want to risk it.
The littles did take the bus to school, which is fine with me.
I have an order to get out today. I have already done my bookkeeping for the last two months. (Easy to do when you have no business coming in)
Then I guess I will mow to lawn. THat was not my plan, but better than starting to clean the house at 11am.
I do want to work on the party invites...so that might be next.
TOnight we have football practice at 6pm and I have a parish council meeting at 7:30.
If I have time i will check in later.
Yes Stacy, go As Geo said, "just" Plantar fascitis (also sp?) would be good - fixable. I feel for you, I've been through foot pain where I couldn't walk had to have a boot for a few months. I also thought it was broken as I'd done a few bonehead things at the time but it wasn't, so here's hoping yours isn't either.
Got up at 6.
Planned my week.
Had quiet time.
Cleaned the light fixtures in the kitchen and dining room.
Have started the general housekeeping with the kitchen
need to exercise -- will have to do tonight
need to finish housekeeping in the dining room, living room, bathrooms, bedroom, cloffice, and garage
then get ready for work -- headed in to do that now
Staff Meeting, Part A
possible meeting about home and auto insurance when I get home tonight ... *sigh* Hoping not, but it's possible. Hate that I had NO IDEA we were exploring other options, and then find out he's scheduled a meeting for tomorrow night, when I'm NOT going to be home, so he is trying to change it to tonight. ugh. -- O.K., that turned out not so bad. Home for the evening. Probably not exercising at this point ... walked in the door with the insurance agent here already. From that to dinner to dishes. And now ... no energy. Bedtime yet?
That's all I've got ...
Have a good day, everyone~
You are busy Missy! We're not quite there yet. All the girls are still sleeping. Sarah is still tired out after the weekends sleepover and dreading today's tooth pulling -4 adult molars this time, plus a loose baby molar that he thought would have fallen out by now. Natasha has been working non-stop on finishing her summer English homework (Lord of the Flies - blogging, and analyzing 10 quotes per chapter), so I thought I'd forgo the alarms today.
I do need to wake Sarah up soon. She is going to work with me, then straight to the dentist. The rest of the day we'll feed her pudding, work on getting the books back in their room, get all the laundry done I've been ignoring while I painted, and I need to get my everything-school-girls binder and school calendars in order for the Fall.
It is gorgeous though, so I think I'll do the paperwork outside .
DH picked up Hunger Games yesterday too - still knocked me off my feet even on the smaller screen.
Ok, does anyone else hate this Back to school routine thing that keps popping up at the bottom of my screen? I get that it s Michelle Obama but enough already!
Stacy, then go see your GP. That's where I started with mine. Yeah, I had to see a foot doctor after that, but the shoe I ended up with allowed me to walk without stressing it so it could heal. Then that eventually led to my Arthritis diagnosis when I didn;t have full healing - but it still helped a LOT and allowed me to walk & take care of the little girls. Don't play with your feet, GO! Several people in DH's family have had Plantar Fascitis - the podiatrist makes a specialized boot to fit that keeps your foot at a certain angle at night to stretch the muscle as well as immobilize it for healing. Some havehad cortisone shots in the meantime, but I believe most just ore normal supportive shoes during the day. I'd at least stay away from sandals and flats for now.
