Not that I'm counting or anything .... ;)

O.K.  I've tried for the umpteenth time to upload the pictures of the Christmas cards I mentioned yesterday after finally getting them to load to the computer, and I'm not seeing them below, so I'm not sure they'll post.  eta:  1/4 posted.  They are all the same custom size, so i don't know why the rest didn't, but here's the one.  Under the tag, I stamped the word "JOY" and on the back, "Merry Christmas" is stamped with a small rectangle matching the tag, for signing your name.  So ... what would you be willing to pay for a card like this?

Today:

housekeeping

Staff meeting, part A

dinner

scrappy time  :)

Worked a twelve hour day yesterday which does not bode well for the entire week.  Thank goodness for the massage and adjustment scheduled for tomorrow!  Hope ya'll have a great day~

Good Morning!

Three people are off to school, one just awoke, and I have made my list! There is a funeral today, so I will just work from home. I need to anchor myself at the table for most of the day, but I have some cleaning to do. DH & the girls made a HUGE clean space on one side of the basement - perfect for both the electrician to work and a gaggle of girls at a sleepover.

DH didn't do any heavy lifting, but badly aggravated what he thinks is a pinched nerve that intermittently gives him problems. I am hoping this time he bites the bullet and calls the Dr. (did he mention it when he was there a few weeks ago?) I keep telling him PT would be a good thing. He is supposed to be marching alumni band on Saturday and right now he can barely walk, bend, stand, sit, or lie down.

Meanwhile, the confirmation dinner was lovely, good time in the kitchen, though one of my friends is suffering bad anxiety and couldn't come. The speaker was INCREDIBLE - we laughed, we cried. wow. Sarah did well at Volleyball tryouts - the 12's will ALL get to play in a league and focus on skills building, next year the practices and cost both double so she wants in now so she can play in High school and get a volleyball scholarship to ISU. I like the way she thinks (and more likely than a basketball player for her). She can still play the short season non-club school basketball league if it materializes this year.

So - today I work hard, Mira has violin afterschool, I may bring Natasha dinner at school.

Julie, I will look at the photos later as a treat/break for getting some work finished!

Uh oh! :( I hope DH sees a doctor. Does he see a chiro? YEAAAA for the cleaning, though! That's exciting! Glad to hear the confirmation dinner was lovely. :) Your sweet girl has her mama's brains, doesn't she? Smart kid! I vote you keep her. :) Have a good one, MJ. Stay tethered to that table as long as you can. ;) {{{{{HUGS}}}}

Whew!  Had to log in this morning and it looked like it wasn't going to let me post.  But I'm in.

Had a good weekend.  Fun time shopping with my mom on Friday, although she only ended up buying one thing and when she got home it didn't fit where she had planned it.  Friday night Sarah went to a confirmation team building thing.  Emilee and I did more shopping at a shopping center that was new to us.  It is kind of far from home, but would be worth going to occasionally.

Saturday morning, up early to get Sarah from her sleepover.  They had the first game of their volleyball tournament at 10 and won.  The team then went to lunch at Subway before the second game at 1.  Unfortuantely, they lost that game, so that was the end of the season.  After the game we took Em to a birthday party sleepover!

Sunday we went to church, picked up Em, and had Sarah's birthday lunch at Joe's Crab Shack.  Then we stopped at the mall to get her ears double-pierced (second set of holes).  That was all she wanted for her birthday.  Em had one act from 3-7.  I worked on laundry, cleaning, and reviewing photos.

Today, I have to leave work at 3:00 to pick up the girls from school as the other carpool mom is out of town until late tonight.  Will probably work from home a bit after, although I might just try to make up time later in the week.  Will see how the day goes.

DWTS and Castle after supper!

Good morning. Our first tournament is here - started arriving on Saturday. The building is NOT ready & there's plastic over half the windows downstairs... lol. That's what we get for being ambitious and trying to open before November. Annnnnnnd, the "new boy" is no longer. A little sad, but I'm walking away with my integrity before it was too serious to not get hurt. It's a shame he chose to ruin a 15-year friendship, though. I will miss that. So, that's my story... LOL. Better get back to work before someone notices my absence! :D <3

LOL, by the time I got to where I could post, I completely forgot about your cards!  Sorry.  They are beautiful!  I think you should come up with a standard price per card and then discounted price if they buy x cards.  like $2/card or their choice $10/6 cards (or buy 5 get one free!).  How much do you think you have in the card for time and supplies?

I'm sorry things didn't work out Jill! But yeah, better to realize that now than later.

{{{{{HUGS}}}}} Construction going on everywhere in your life, isn't there, Jill? But you're right ... on all accounts, actually. I'm sorry for your loss. But the friendship may heal in time. Integrity costs more and takes longer. Love you!
