Soaked Saturday

It's raining here.  Which doesn't bode well for the in-laws' pork stand at the local homecoming or the retirement party at my parents' house tomorrow, but who can complain when we've been parched all summer? 

I got an outline done last night for the sermon, and finally got the ppt pics changed and sent to the media specialist for tomorrow.

today:

move the sermon from outline form to first draft -- !!!!!

10 minutes dumbbells

practice the songs for tonight ... one solo, one cast song

eta:  find matchbox cars for the party tomorrow for Mom

load the canopy for the party tomorrow for mom and dad

look for cymbals for the play tonight for the director

figure out Children's Time  -- at church on Sunday morning!  half an hour before worship started!  But got her done!

10 minutes aerobics

10 minutes yoga

edit draft of sermon -- I've decided it doesn't need it.  I think it's in pretty good shape.  I kind of editted as I worked, so ... we're done!

bed -- made it to bed about 11 p.m. last night.  Up at 5:15.  Remembered as I went to bed that the clothes I wanted to wear to the party today were in the laundry.  Remembered as I woke up this morning that I had brought my alb for worship home and put IT in the laundry.  And I hadn't done laundry this week because I had other more pressing things to do first.  OOPS.

tomorrow:

eta:  wash dishes

take out garbage and compost

put the whites in the washer

put the darks in the washer

dry what I need for the day in the dryer

get food ready for the day

review sermon and liturgy

print sermon and liturgy

worship

help mom and dad do last minute things for party

party

try to squeeze in ten minutes of dumbbells, 10 minutes of aerobics, and 10 minutes of yoga in around festivities  --  I've decided I get a free pass on Sundays.  Sundays are a day of rest, so I am resting from exercise.    I'll start back up on Monday.    -- eta, I danced at the party ... learned the jitterbug from one of my parishioners!   TOO FUN!
