Well I am up.  This is my last Thursday off before returning to school.

I am taking C to school then going to the church to work in the scout room until its time to go to the attorneys office.

After that I am coming home to do house work and scrap.  I got my 1,000 envelopes in yesterday and am going to do some card making.

I need to get meals planned.

I am supposed to do some Senior photos today however, as the title reflects we are to have some pretty bad thunderstorms today so I doubt that will be happening.

Then I have the first GS leader meeting at 630, but I need to be at the park early to open the shelter.

Anyhow I better get C to school.

Have a great day.

Sounds busy Stacy! Hope all goes well - enjoy your last Thursday. We had Thunderstorms last night, the back yard is almost all green again, just a few small brown spots. Yay!

Geo, yay on the washer (wait, nothing is living in the one in the barn, right? No spiders or anything?). and sounds like you had some fun in the classroom too!

Karen, I hope you get a nap in sometime.

We'll start with the usual, getting Natasha where she needs to be, and I'm working on a pot of tomato sauce. Then off to work for me. I won't need to water the church garden while I'm there as I thought I would be!

Then home to paint some more. The upper shelf was nasty dusty, so I ended up washing it a second time. Then since it can't come down (screwed onto floating brackets, and all the shelves ends layered and screwed together around the room) I decided I would cut in all those tedious corners and edges first. Finished that and did all the small areas between the tops of doors/windows and the bottom of the shelf, so the botoom of the their room is still pink with a solid blue strip above the white shelf, and random other blue spots!

What else? Need to pick more tomatoes, garden club (hope to sling the rest of the compost into the raised beds) and Natasha's guitar lesson.

Yeah ... we're HOPING there's nothing living in it! They certainly WILL be encouraged to LOOK first. *Closely*

I am SOOOOO excited to have a DIL who is a teacher and a daughter who is planning to be one! I really did enjoy being in the classroom with them. I used to volunteer in the school system when my kids were little, and had been in last semester to offer to do it again, but they never got back to me, so I just told Brooke last night, to bring laminating to me on her way home from work when she needed it cut. I love that stuff. :smileyhappy:

Have fun painting! :smileywink:

I've made candied sweet potatoes for a bereavement dinner at church.  Did I tell you this last night?  My mother called yesterday.  She said, "Since you're a member now, and you're on vacation, and you aren't doing the service, can you bring a dish to the funeral dinner?"  Seriously?  I said, "That sounds like an oxymoron to me, but if it makes sense in YOUR head ...."  So I threw together candied sweet potatoes early this morning, and ran them over to her house.  I told her to tell me what time she was leaving for the church because I would NOT be delivering them THERE.  I'm on VACATION.  ugh.  It's not that I'm not willing to help, it's that I'm on VACATION.  And one would not think one's MOTHER would be the first to play the "you're a member now" card, and fuzz boundaries, but ... she did.

I've folded laundry and done dishes, and slathered BioFreeze on my shoulder.  I've checked blood sugar and had breakfast and checked it again, post meal, and it was the same ... 95 both times.  I'm wondering if I need to either eat more oatmeal or eat something else with it.  95 is in the normal range, but I still feel a little hungry and a little low on blood sugar.

Did I say that I put a week's worth of oatmeal, trail mix, and peanut butter aside in Tupperware containers the other day to just grab easily?  I was SO glad for that this morning, because I ASSURE you if I hadn't ... breakfast would have been chocolate chip cookies and milk!

Playing on Pinterest for a bit, then going to make a pretty clipboard for Brooke for her classroom lunch count.  (YEAAAAA for scrapping!)  And I'm going to work on the closet.  And watch Olympics recordings that I haven't gotten to see.  And dry laundry that didn't get dried yesterday.

That's it for me.  Have a good day, everyone~

We are leaving in a little bit to go to hospital stupido, as I call it.:smileysurprised: Hopefully I won't have any issues with them. Anyway, after that, I am not sure but I will probably scrap, unless I am there ALL darn day! And I might be b/c I think they are going to do the EMG today.

Hope you all have a good day! :smileyhappy:

I have been up 7 hours now!  Em is at school, Sarah has her retainers and is at school, and DH has had is surgery and is enthroned in the living room watching Lord of the Rings.  He was already feeling some pain when he came out of surgery, so it could be a fun time for awhile.

I thinki I am going to take a nap after lunch.  I really didn't have time to eat much this morning so I was starving.  I am eating as I post.  After my nap I will need to work some.  Only I forgot the materials that I meant to bring home to work on.  Pooh.

Sarah will come home with the carpool and I need to pick Em up at 5 after cross country.

Chat tonight?  We talked about doing it at 8 this week.

Hi!
Busier week than I was hoping for. :smileysad: Significantly less tv-watching this summer than I was planning. LOL.

Rosie had orientation this morning - her teacher is AWESOME and I'm so excited for her to start kindergarten!

I'm hoping to be at chat. I see it's getting earlier? Maybe I won't fall asleep like I did last week, haha! :smileyvery-happy:
