Hey what is going on?
Tonight is chat. If it is early again this week, I will miss it. we ha e two football games, so we will be getting home T 9.
today I am getting my hair done.
Other than that, I am going to work on the play room a little and scrap a little.
I am sure I have more to say, but that will have to wait until later.
Out for now.

I'm at work early again for Day 2 of our training. Yesterday was better than expected. Lauren, you are right, it was good to see colleagues I hadn't seen since May and hear about their summers, and I got to meet some people in person that I had only ever interacted with via email. The meeting itself was very interactive & participatory...we weren't lectured at for 8 hours straight, thank goodness! Actually picked up some skills I could use in the future...they were teaching us how to facilitate meetings with faculty, students, alums, etc. to gather the data we'll need to develop the college's strategic plan. Nothing earth-shattering, but it was helpful! Hope that vibe continues today!
If I'm awake at chat time, I will try to pop in!
Have a great day everyone!
Have a great day!
NEED to do housekeeping today.... only got the kitchen done yesterday because I stayed on the computer too long, and then I went to the hospital where i stayed for a couple of hours, and the hospital is nearly 45 minutes away then there were phone calls around our parishioner with the heart attack passing away yesterday morning. When the family got home, I was making dinner, eating, and having family time. So ... yeah. It's not like it's out of control at al (which is the point of working at it daily), but there ARE things that need to be done, and tomorrow is a laundry/downstairs day.
kitchen: wash dishes, clear bar
bathrooms: clean vanity, toilets, and tubs, straighten
living room: dust rocking chair, tray table, piano, television stand, desk, clock, end table, and all the picture frames; straighten up
garage: bag up recyclables and put in van to take to work
bedroom: dust end tables, headboard, dresser, television/stand, hope chest, chest of drawers
Work later this afternoon and evening. Odds of me being at chat are slim. We are looking at a long meeting tonight, reviewing policies that we are creating or updating.
I need to create a nursery brochure to be passed out to parents when they drop off children in the nursery
and I need to do the Youth News page for the newsletter
I need to send out the teaching schedule for the first rotation
and I need to create the flier to be mailed to the kids.
Need to finish another post for the blog.
Needs to be a productive day.
Catch ya later~
Becca - glad the meeting was good!
Missy - have a good day!
Geo - that's quite a list... again. Hope you get it all done!
Me... at work. Rosie was *this close* to missing the bus this morning. Going to have to get working on our morning routine a little more. She did NOT want to get up and get dressed today!
I have a ton of stuff I should be doing - must.start.working.harder.
I should be at chat - scrapping while I'm there, I hope!!
Have a great day!

Urg. I am sooooo tired. I told Emilee this morning I could use another 5 days of sleep! Not going to happen any time soon. I have no idea what is going on today. DH overdid it yesterday. I was so tired by the time I got home and he was too so we didn't really talk about the plan. Today he is working from home and he slept in until just as I was leaving. Ahh, he just texted me...
Okay, I am picking Emilee up from the high school at 4:45. DH is taking Sarah to volleyball. Her practice is a little earlier on Thursdays so we should be able to eat before 7! Yay.
I got my LOs switched over last night. If I don't get anything else done I am good with that. It would be nice though to figure out papers for a few more.
If I am in chat tonight, good, if not, I am probably sleeping.
I read posts but nothing sunk in. Sorry.
Michelle says she doesn't know when/if she will make it to the board before chat at 9:00.
Becca, glad it was a great meeting! Missy, have a good day! Jill hopefully Rosie will be better tomorrow!
Karen, hope you can get some rest. I feel like going back to bed now! Who else? Oh, Geo, hope you get all that done!
Me: I am going to fix some tags I made and do some other things for my shop. Simba is trying to fall asleep on my hand while I type. LOL. Dh has to look at my external hard drive b/c it won't open on the computer. Good Grief, what happened now? Dishes to do too and some other cleaning!
Becca, your meeting sounds wonderful - love interactive meetings, and skills you can actually use! (it really shouldn;t be something to shout about, all meetings should be like that, alas...)
Karen, I juat had a small nap. I tried to send some restful vibes your way, I hope they didn't make you sleepy! Yay for being ready to scrap
Glad your DH is taking it easier today.
Geo - you apparently had a list, but I lost your post between pages? Must be me.
Missy, I've texted you. Happy football games.
Lauren, hope you accomplished much.
Jill - ahhh, your busy season. Again. Are you going to have an assistant again thsi year? I'll ask at chat.
We dropped the girls off, took off from the elementary school, met FIL, SIL & BIL at Jaarsma bakery (for TRUE Dutch letters to bring home and DH's favorite cherry donut holes that he has gotten on almost every trip to visit family since he was little). The service was lovely, full military honors graveside in a beautiful corner of the cemetary under a tree, the day beautiful, got to talk to a lot of family, saw some recent wedding photos, etc.
Left the luncheon with JUST enough time to make it the 90 minutes back to pick up Sarah (who with all she had to juggle bringing to school today left her phone in DH's car, so was freaking out she'd lost it). Got the others, home to talk about more first classes, and most everyone took a nap.
See you all after Garden club!
