Whats up in your world
Stacy, you need to go figure out what that stuff is! A prednisone shot could help a LOT so you can sleep. the idea of sitting in classes all day while tired and itchy make me cringe. I hope it starts to calm.
House is quiet, Sarah looked quite nice for her school photos today, though she wanted a green background and I am not sure if I checked that box on the form. Hmmm. well, the check is written so can't have her change it now, and she is wearing a purple dress...
I am going to the Botanic Center this morning. I have way more volunteer hours than I need to become a Master Gardener, unfortunately only 9 are at official projects, the rest at the school & church garden so I need to add a few more. I technically have until the end of the year, but if I get them in by mid-Sept I'll get my official name badge at the harvest dinner.
After that I'll be happily chipping away at the past two days lists.
Sarah has a volleyball meeting afterschool, HOPEFULLY we'll have schedule now? Pretty please? So we'll be able to finalize voice and percussion lessons?
Picking up my SIL from the airport this evening. I still nee to vacuum out the back of her van!
Up and ready for work.
Thinking through the day:
funeral this morning
need to get there early to do Social Media updates before that
bereavement dinner after the funeral
may come home to work this afternoon because I won't be hungry for a while after the dinner, and I hate to just go over and work w/o ordering ... OR ... I may opt to work on other things at the office, and go do Balcony Time tomorrow afternoon instead. That actually seems more likely, as I say it. I could be home at a more reasonable hour and get started on sermon prep.
sermon prep/bulletin this evening
Have a good day, everyone~
MJ I am sorry for the loss that you and your DH and his office are facing. How terribly sad.
Stacy, I hope the itching stays away.
Julie, good luck with all that you have to do.
Me: Dropped kids off at school. Took Photos (at Jack's request) of him reading the first 20 sight words to his teacher. I cried. Now I am home. I have a few emails to write and send and then type a paper for Harrison.
After that I am going to work on my scrap space. I am half way through putting all my stuff away. My bags are for the first time empty. I gave the kids all the paper that I do not like/will not use, so that is all out of my stash along with stickers and old die cuts and joilees.
I have to run to the store and drop a bunch of toys off at good will.
See you later.
Ugh, I am in a total fog, and I just came out of a meeting about a totally dense topic (in terms of complexity of the material); I hope I got something out of it. I know I read through the posts on this thread like three times and I am not sure that I got anything out of them.
Stacy, I hope you get some help for your itchies.
MJ, how heart breaking! Will be praying for all involved.
Geo, I vote for balcony time tomorrow.
Missy, good luck with your scrappy space! What grade is Jackson in?
So, it's Tuesday. Will be leaving work a little bit earlier than I would normally need too. We are having stuffed pepper for supper. They really only need to be in the crockpot a few hours, and are not nearly as good when they are way overdone. SO I thought I would get everything ready to go and then stop at home to put them in the crockpot before picking the girls up for piano. Only Emilee was helping me get things ready and she sliced one of the peppers in half (she was going to chop it up). That was okay, I figured I could just stuff the halves. Then one that I cut the top off had all this black stuff in the bottom inside? I don't know what it was. Anyway, I didn't feel comfortable stuffing that. So I stopped and bought another pepper after I dropped the girls off. So now I need to leave here with enough time to get home, clean and stuff one pepper, put them all in the crockpot and start that, find the girls piano books that they forgot to bring today, print an archivers coupon, and be at the school around 3:30 to pick the girls up. I am actually okay with being a little later--but technically Sarah is supposed to be picked up by 3:30. Then piano. After piano take Sarah to volleyball. Then home. Oye vey, I just realized that Em has cross country late before Sarah is done with volleyball. But then, she also has a dinner after that so I will not worry about it. When I get her (Em) home I will probably just crash. Ugh, I really hope I can make it through the mental fog and get through this day.
