Oh NO!  You have 43456796338 things to do this WEEK?  have mercy!  No WONDER you're overwhelmed.  you should just LEAVE all 43456796338 things and come to MY house.  That's ONE thing.  SOOOO much easier!  (SOOOOO much FUNNER!)  :smileywink:

I have 43456796337 things to do TODAY.  :smileywink:   O.K., not really.  But close ...

chiro at 8. (done)   I love him.  Just sayin'.

Staff meeting, part B at 10.  (done)

Patterns to print for a woodworker in the congregation to cut them out for me by mid-September  (done), Little Seeker activities to plan for the first two weeks of Youth Quest (done), music CDs to order for the little ones(done), my report to write for Session (done) between the chiro and staff meeting (I HOPE!)

then Balcony time

then blogs to write and schedule for publishing

then a CE meeting with at least a thousand things on the agenda

then write the CE report for Session to go in the consent agenda

then HOME

and I'll be OFF for the next ten days!

Alright ... gotta run ... have a good one!

I hear you Missy on the 43456796338 things to do!  Good luck with your list.

Julie, good luck with yours too!  Hope you finish everything so that those 10 days of vacation can be blissfully worry and stress free.

Me:  I am working from home this morning, at least until just after 10.  Then we will head up to the high school.  Oops, should back up a bit.  Need to get non-fitting uniforms in the van to be sold during registration today.  I know there are a bunch already priced and ready to go in Emilee's closet.  Sarah tells me she doesn't have any recent nonfitting items, but says she needs new shorts?  Hmm, how does that work?  I suppose they *could* be worn out.  Need to check with Em.

Okay, so up to the high school just after 10.  Sarah goes to volleyball camp.  Em and I haul in uniforms for sale.  Em goes to get her school picture taken while I do registration type things and pay out the big bucks.  Hopefully head home with plenty of time to continue working.  If there is NOT plenty of time before Sarah gets picked up, might run to Archivers instead.  I have decided that I need to buy the papers for my cards at this time even if they don't have all the new Christmas lines in!  Pick Sarah up from volleyball.  Get her school picture taken?  I really don't think she will want it then, but she thinks that would be the better time to do it.  When she's all sweaty?  Yeah.  Right.  I think it will happen later.  Drop her at home and go in to the office.

DH will be taking Emilee up to the high school for cross country camp at 4:30.  Assuming Sarah has not had her photo taken yet, she will go with and get that done then.  Then they will come home.  I will leave work about 5:15 to pick up Emilee and home for supper.  Depending on how I am doing on hours, I might once again go in to the office after supper.  I do not want to get hours behind at this point!

Yep, I think that covers it.

Good morning. Add me to the list of slightly overwhelmed with lots to do. Maybe not quite as many things as Missy or Geo. :smileyhappy: Work is really getting crazy now & I have a zillion projects at home I'd like to wrap up before we open again.

Tonight is gymnastics and pizza *I will not eat too much, I will not eat too much, I will not eat too much.* LOL. I managed to actually lose weight on vacation and I'm enjoying good progress... I will not ruin it now!

And I printed 150 pictures at Walgreens last night, so I might actually get around to scrapping again someday!! I'm trying so hard not to fall behind too much or I know I'll never catch up.

Hope everyone has a great day!!

Whoa you guys!

Julie, I hope that all works out and you can enjoy those days at home :smileyhappy:

I am busy, but not to that extent!

  • **Need to finish Tasha's lunch, take her to marching band. She already has a sock tan after 1 day! Check
  • ** (new message on cell - possibly meet some volunteers at the school who are going to move my supplies?) Supplied moved AND we built the 8 raised beds AND linen them with landscape fabric!!!!
  • **Pack a picnic lunch and meet friends for a playdate at the Rose Garden.Cancelled & rescheduled due to Mira having an upset tummy.
  • ** (Was planning to go to a school garden thing, but if I have volunteers with heavy equipment I'm going with that). Went to the school garden thing. GREAT networking and info I've been wanting. Awesome.
  • **Home to work (depending on above!) yup
  • **Maybe register Sarah around dinnertime? I was planning to do it early, but now I'm thinking we'll do all that tomorrow.Yeah. Tomorrow.
  • ** heading back to the school at 7 to start filling the raised beds. Have a few volunteers showing up.

Hello everyone!
Seems like everyone has a million things to do!

I tried to sleep in. Got up got ready. Fed the birds.
Picked mom up, took her to walmart and the grocery store. Took her stuff home. Came to my house with her and her laundry. I finished my laundry, put away all my groceries. cleaned my kitchen, did the dishes. it was about 1 pm then.

Her laundry is still running.

Once its done we will head out and I will take her to see smiley, and drop off her latest purchase for her. Cute outfit which you will all see soon as her 8 months is Thursday, so that means a photo session!

Then take mom back home. Drop off photos and cards to people who brought them to scouts last night.

come home and I need to cut up the chicken and cantaloupe for dinner.

then scrap some. :smileyhappy:

then fix dinner.

Not sure what else today.

Hope everyone's lists are going well and you are having good days!

I checked the uniforms that I had to sell and all of them are smaller sizes, more suited to being sold at the elementary school.  They have their registration tomorrow.  Called and verified that I can drop things off there tomorrow morning.  I have 3 or 4 things to price, but that won't be hard.

Ugh, the worst part of registration is that it is a "social event."  Which is fine if you have nothing to do.  Anyway, kept having to corral Em and trying to herd her to the door.  Offered--three times--to just leave her there until volleyball camp was done.  Apparently it didn't sink in that that was what I was offering until after I had her in the van!  I can't help it if she doesn't listen.  Managed to put in another 45 minutes between registration and heading back to pick up Sarah.  Would have been an hour but I (thankfully!) remembered that I desperately needed gas.  LOL, I put in about 3 gallons at one place, picked Sarah up, dropped her at home, and came down to Sam's (which is by work), where I put in 19 more.  Yep, 22 gallons in a tank that holds just over 22 gallons.  Anyway, I will be able to put in almost 4 hours this afternoon, so I will be down about half an hour at the end of the day.  I can live with that.

Oh yah, found out Sarah never turned in her volleyball uniform from last season.  Ugh.

Hopefully you will sell all of your used uniforms tomorrow.

So what happens since she didn't turn it in? what do you do now?

LOL, well I told her that she had to find it to get her schedule...but in reality, the school will not do anything. If they were going to do something it would have already happened. DH and I are in the process of writing up a school contract for this year so we will put stuff like this in it with consequences for going forward. And I imagine Sarah and I will be deep cleaning her room before next Tuesday to find the missing top. (She turned in her basketball uniform over the summer, and I will be taking back books to the Academy tomorrow that she has had squirreled away for over a year!!!)

oh gosh....
our school would have sent bills for the books by now.

Well maybe the contract will be helpful. I know how the struggles go with them not following through. my son was that way with homework and such...
He did finally grow out of it! :smileyhappy: so there is hope!

The books are primarily from teacher libraries, so not necessarily trackable to Sarah.  They are not text books.
