How is everyone today?

We slept in a bit.  Now we are getting ready to gather tools and go to the wolcott property to clear the brush.  I really hope we can be done in one trip.

Then I will do some scrapbooking.

Thats all for today.

Take care everyone.

We went to the State Fair this morning. Sarah had a sleepover to get to at 2 p.m., and Natasha babysat tonight, so we only spent a half day there. It was a BEAUTIFUL morning to go, 80 degrees, we drove right in - very weird for a Saturday. Was full by 1 when we were leaving though. Saw the girls art of course :smileyhappy:, plus some of their friends photography, art, and sewing projects. The big slide was a must, the train club display, dollhouses, and the buckskinners camp where Mira & Sarah bought ows with wooden arrows (Karen, Em now has 3 Katniss' in competetion!) and one for Sarahs friend. We'll go back another partial day to see the rest. I only had a lime shave ice, a few bites of blooming onion, and a strawberry ice cream there. Next time I want the grilled veggies on a stick and Natasha wants her deep fried oreo!

I spent the rest of the day sleeping off a sinus headache that turned nasty, until a few hours ago, so I am WIDE awake.

That's all here...I have a LIST of things I want to accomplish tomorrow, but we all know that it is too long for an entire week, and I should take it easy tomorrow, so I'm hoping for the promised rain :smileyhappy:. I'll stick with getting to church and getting school supplies ready, and then see what happens.

MJ is there a book or a site or something that you could suggest that will explain all these food things so that I can try to figure out a working menu?
I do eat raw carrots almost every day, its one of my quick grabs when I am hungry. . . but I would say I only eat 1/4 cup a day...

Thanks!

Sunday.
We are going to the big city so that I can go to M's cuz I need more bazzill kraft paper to finish the circle album I am making for Will to take to work.
I hope they have it..... I know they stock bazzill but I dunno if they have the kraft.

We are going on the bike and taking the trailer in case we find other things that we need/want.

Diva and I have coupon club later today, if she wants to go.

Have a wondeful day ladies!

There is a diabetes site I posted on one of the previous posts when you were looking for recipes that would be of help. You could look at the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics website eatright.org, or at the American Diabetes Association website.

I feel GOOD today! And it is raining. The grass is growing and greenish! I am going to mow tomorrow - haven't mowed since the morning we left for vacation!

Nice morning at church, picked up bagels, read the paper and will go pick up Sarah in a few minutes. The girl is going to be exhausted, but we MUST go get school supplies this afternoon as we have at least one meeting or activity or...something every evening the next week and I don't want to dive into crazy just yet. DH needs new pants and a razor. Then Natasha is babysitting this evening. I'm going to work on bits of things for the girls room (that shelf!) and cleaning up some piles in mine, between watching the closing ceremonies.

That is all.

Well I finished 20 pages in Will's book and 2 pages in Genesis book.

Got all the house work done and laundry.

Diva and I went to coupon club.

Now we are finishing a movie.

I now need to work on meal plans.

Gigi will miss her first day of school, her first ever. She is feeling so bad, she does not care. My baby has a 102.1 temp. At least she won't miss anything major.
