What's wonderful about yours?
Because Red was home yesterday, my agenda took second fiddle, however, I got the housecleaning done for yesterday AND today YESTERDAY, so I am free to scrap all DAY *today*! Headed to my scrap corner now, but first, wanted to show you these little paper dresses. They'll be going on cards that say "Girls just wanna have fun!" And on the inside, "Kick up your heels!" A fun thinking of you or celebratory card, I thought. :) Catch ya later~
Those dresses are adorable!
Well, we've had piano lessons and a few errands. Natasha is at crew being helpful even though crew was cancelled? still trying to figure that out but apparently she finished building some stairs with someone else.
Taking Mira shopping. Sigh - but she still needs winter skirts/tops/sweaters and a coat. I'd forgotten that the otherwise-perfect-condition hand-me-down from Sarah had a wonky zipper. - it totally broke last night at the corn maze!
Sarah gets her hair cut this afternoon, and we'll do yard work. I need to move my geraniums from their HUGE planter into individual pots to bring inside too. I think we'll take down the falling apart garden fence too before we till? and go looking for a replacement kitchen light.
A little sad -found out the annoying neighbor girl is moving to an appartment in a burb on Sarah's birthday. They just moved in this Spring - wondering now if they were renting? I know the Dad just finished his Masters degree. So, she won't be annoying anymore but I'm sad for her and it was so nice for Sarah to have someone her age to ride her bike and hang with - they are still on the same 'age', into pretend and not so much fashion and boys yet!
I miscounted when I replied to Becca yesterday, and then I played some more. Ended up using 7.5 hours of my 25.5 scrappy time allowance yesterday. :) Finished the purple set of the "wishing you joy" Christmas cards for the Christmas fair by making 12 more of the 19 total. I have NO idea what price to put on those, so if anyone has any suggestions ... They are brown paper lunch bag cards with a cardstock file folder insert, stamped on both sides, that has a tag tied to it with lace. I don't know if I see them as a set for a fixed price, or if I sell them individually, or if I offer the option. There will be a blue set and a pink set as well ... how many of each is yet to be determined. All the same concept, so theoretically, someone could buy all of them and send them as Christmas cards to everyone on their list. $1/card seems unrealistic if that's the case when one could buy a box of cards at Wal Mart for less (though it's been so long since I bought boxed Christmas cards, I don't remember how MUCH less). I should probably take a picture and post it. That would help, wouldn't it? Which means I need to get out of "Quick Reply" and move to "Reply" ... hang on ....
Ugh. O.k., for some reason, the laptop isn't recognizing the camera to transfer photos. What's up with that? *sigh* Guess I won't post them after all. At least not right now. Busy day ahead ... have a good one~
Try later Geo :).
Home for a lil' bit - checking e-mail about the confirmation dinner at the moment. Tasha & I are going bowling then Sarah & I will deliver the rest of her invitations and work on the basement some more. Back to church at 2:30 to cook/prep/decorate/work on the photo wall (small crowd this year) and Sarah is helping to serve. DH has to finish a proposal, so I will likely be taking Sarah to Volleyball tryouts this evening.
