Binder Recommendations?

Hi! I've been hunting all over to buy a binding machine and realized I should just come here and ask all you scrappers!

I want one that will do 12x12 but also mini-albums -- I also don't want to lay out big bucks due to it being the holidays. What do you all think of the Zutter Bind it All? I had the 7 Gypsies binder recommended to me too but that only does smaller albums. Someone else recommended a punch binder (mybinding, I think? I can't remember, I saved the link) but it does only plastic combs. I'd prefer wire binding so the user can fold it flat. Any recommendations?

Thanks!

Thanks, Missy! I'm still leaning towards the Zutter, and I've heard the same thing from a couple of others, that it has a bit of a learning curve about straightness. Ugh, straightness=not my thing! LOL

Shoot! I saw this earlier and my response was: Ask Missy!
Laugh - I've heard essentially the same thing, and I love the books Missy has made for me.

But maybe now you can call it an essential school supply? or maybe do a test run at a scrapbook store if you have one near to try it out?

DO let us know what you get, and how you like it so we can pass on the information to anyone else who might ask! (and maybe share some of your projects here?)

If you would like I can send you directions to make your own binder. I usually make double spine books.

Donna, I am sorry, I thought you posted saying you wanted directions on how to make the double spine binder/album. I meant to send them earilier and then I got sick. I am sorry if you still want them, let me know.
