You need water based paint. On a craft sheet, or what ever surface you use for crafting, place dabs of paint. Mix in a little water. So the paint wicks better. Put you paper face down in the paint and don't slide it. Pick it up and position your paper and repeat. This works well with with distress ink too. For that. Put the ink pad on the craft paper, press down on the ink. Do this with a couple of different colors. You can add perfect pearls if you water a shiny paint look too. Next, spray water on the ink so water drops form. Place your paper on top and press down, and lift up. Repeat. If you do drag your paper through the ink. Just dry with heat tool and press the paper into the. Ink again with no dragging. I think you will be please with the effect. Practice first on scrap paper.

Hmm, I wonder if you couldn't just thin down acyrlic paint a little and drip it on to your paper?

Or (doing this outside) load up a paintbrush and "flick" the paint over the page.

Thanks ladies.
I tried actual paint balls and well they are oil based and talk about a mess! LOL

Missy I will give those techniques a try, I do have distress ink.

Karen thanks for the idea, I will try that one too and see what I can do. I think dripping may give the splat effect.

Well I inked up my craft sheet, sprizted with water and layed it down and pulled it up and the blobs were too big. So i kept trying and just ended up with lots of trys! :)
I think I just need more practice, I haven't done much like this before. I also want the splats to be bright so I am thinking I might need craft paint of some sort to get the brightness..

Thanks for your help!
