Here's the digital LO that I've been working on. Maddie and Gabbie's birthday pics.

LOL, btw, the outfits? That's what we gave them for their birthday. No, not the ones the have on...they had those outfits on when we got there. But the SAME TOPS from Gymboree.

TFL!

Yes, I have a mamma jamma printer...I used to just have a honkin' big printer, but it selflessly threw itself in the way of the power surge when our house got struck by lightening a couple years ago. The replacement that I was able to get (a newer, better model) is soooo huge that honkin' big just doesn't suffice to describe it. I have it sitting on the girls' old changing table and it takes up the whole top of the table. LOL, and even then, I can't use all of the features--there are some specialty papers that require like 3 feet of clearance in front and behind the printer. Who has that much space for a printer? So anyway, I print my digi layouts on that. This one I will probably print 4 copies of: 1 for me, 1 for mom, 1 for my brother, and 1 for his MIL.

Mine will do 13x19 paper. That is what I use when I am printing scrapbook pages. Then I use the "stubs" that are leftover when I am printing random photos. Mine is a Canon Pixma Pro 9000. It has 8 ink cartridges!

You could print titles or journaling directly on the page without being digi if you had a big printer.

so do you buy jumbo photo paper? or print onto card stock or what?

and can you just adjust it to print right onto 12x12?

Yes, I buy 13x19 matte photo paper most of the time. Once I got glossy and the prints are STUNNING, but it costs so much more I just can't justify it (at the time, I had to have paper and that was all I could find).

I can print directly on 12 x 12, but I can't print borderless on 12 x 12. That has to be defined in the printer driver, and this model doesn't have that. It doesn't require a large border, but enough that I don't want to do that for a digital page.

Oh I love this Karen! Love the arrangement of the photos, the colors and the ribbon :).

Well, now they can wear the same top at the same time. Or being their age, they can wear the same thing even after they get dirty and have a change! LOL. Love Gymboree, it lasts through hand-me-downs...
