This was for... Bingo 1 Challenge, 3 of 5 of the following:
American Crafts, Butterflies, Chipboard, Paint, Ribbon
The House card has paint on the chipboard vine. The back of my Moms card has butterflies stamped on it. Both are chipboard based and use ribbon to hang. Because they are hanging I did distress ink both sides.
The House has a jenni Bowlin calandar page, Tim Holtz bird Stamp, TH metal leaves and flower, old Maya Road chipboard flowers distressed with Ranger Ink. And a distressed tag from a Target scrapbook tag book. Maybe Marcella & Co.? Oh, the green swirls, are actually a TH stamp, inked with Distress ink (and a little other color though hard to tell here), spritzed with water and then stamped, to make it look more like a vine climbing the house. Love that technique!
The Heart for my Mom has a Studio Calico stamp (bird), TH stamps on the back. Mom is stamped using Wordsworth acryllic alphas. Marcella & Co tag again? Jeni Bowlin postcard tag, slightly cropped and distressed. Prima leaves (Thanks Stacy - I use these all the time) and misc. buttons. I wasn't completely happy with it, so after I took the photo I dug through my drawers and found my old metallic rub-on pots. Used a Qtip to swipe a green swath along the stamped branch, and to color the bird in with bold stripes of blue. Then I used a 3rd q-tip to unevenly edge the heart with gold. Not heavy , but just enough for some depth and shimmer. Then I ran for the post office, wish I could sshow you the finished project!
