rounded edge photos challenge

I don't know if any of you read the Pioneer Woman's website but I thought we might borrow an idea she used this week.

She has a photography section where she set up a challenge for people to show off their rounded edge photos. First of all she explained how to do it in Photoshop here and then she posted 3 posts with her favourites on them -

take one,

take 2 and

take 3.

Take a look and I think you'll be inspired by them. I know I am!

Anyway, today's challenge is for you to show us your rounded edge photos. You don't need to make a siggy out of them if you don't want to. The point is to see if you can round off your corners. Hopefully PSP and Gimp have the rounded rectangle tool and can follow the PS instructions too.

Have fun! :o)

Edited to add - see Dedi's instructions in post 2 for how to do this in PSP.

oooh I love rounded edges.

In PSP is SUPER easy:

Go to the Selection Tool (the dotted line box, not the wand or freehand) go to the drop down menu and select Rounded Rectangle (or circle).

Make the rectangle around the edge of the photo.

Go to Selections > Invert and then press DELETE this will delete the outside edges of the photo. Then go Selections >Select none or CTRL + D . Ta da! Rounded Edge.

Excellent! Thanks, Dedi. I'll edit the first post to point the PSPers to your instructions. :o)
