Good morning, girlies! How's everyone this week?

I hope all our east coasters have managed to get through the visit from Irene? We had thought Debbie (in Nova Scotia) would get hit but by the looks of the tracker this morning, she's going to only get the outer edges of the storm.

Also we (in Scotland) were supposed to get the tail end of her next weekend but I see they now think she's going to go up and over the north Iceland and so avoid us altogether. Of course, things might change by then - and José might gather some power too. Ahh, the unknown quantities of Mother Nature!

Anyway, got some sewing to do today and, of course, the washing which is in the machine as I type. By the looks of it, I should be able to get it outside to dry today. I do love the smell of the washing after it's been hanging outside. :)

I hope you don't get hit with either hurricane. That'shas to be nerve racking, the not knowing part or what to expect.

Mother Natures just scares me some times. I'm nervous because the east coast had an earth quake, there was an earthquake west of us the same day too. I live in the middle not far from a fault that has been predicted to have a huge quake. The pressure from both sides without a small release.... hmmmm....

I have 3 classes of homework to need to get completed, a pettiskirt for my stepdaughter, pillows for the daycare I designed the logo for, and of course taking care of house and home. I'm just glad I'm finally getting my energy back. Now if I can just get my sleep schedule back on track.

Here's where I play "mum". Don't overdo things, Sara. :)

And did you know you're wearing your old name again?

Okay, off to hang out the first load and then I might try to give Rosie a bit of a haircut. Maybe. I might leave that to Douglas so he'll be the bad one in Rosie's head! :D

Olivia- GREAT NEWS!!!! :) I'm so glad he's coming home!!

Yeah...I brain farted everything else I read. I'm le tired.

We went to my sister's for the weekend, which was awesome! I got to go to Target and get Starbucks and we hit up Borders. All of those are closing so they're having a 50-70% off everything sale. I got a ton of stuff. New books for all, a blu ray movie, some gifts, toys etc. :D Saved $180 (spent much less than that!)

Yay for getting great bargains at Borders! The ones over here all shut down a while ago. We didn't have one in our town but we used to get on the train and go to Dundee to the one there. They always had great magazines there that our "normal" newsagents don't sell.

Can you tell me what the Case Lot Sale is?

A case lot sale is a sale the Commissary (grocery store on a military base) puts on twice a year (maybe 3x...) with all kinds of bulk things for great prices and they give coupons there and I just love them.

They have pet food, toilet paper, paper towels, laundry soap, dish soap, snacks, soda (last time a case of Pepsi was $3, they're normally $6 on sale!!), chips, cereal, etc. Some things aren't in bulk but they're a great price, they had bags of shredded cheese for practically nothing at the last one and frozen things. I have a spanky new deep freezer to fill and new shelves in my stock pile room to load up, bring it on! :D

Sounds like a great deal, Dedi - especially with a new freezer that needs filling! :D

I need to make myself a new siggy but have no idea what to do. I was looking through my PB album for inspiration and Douglas was looking over my shoulder. His exact words were "who'd have thought there were so many ways to write your name?". He obviously doesn't get it! :D

I also need to make a new siggy offer but also have no idea where to go with that one either. DYK that this will be number 98? Good grief, that's a lot of offers. I suppose I should do something special for number 100 ... but I'll think of that after I've done 98 and 99!!

Off to inspect some alphas to see if I can find something inspiring.
