How do you get the colored font?

I have a Mac Ibook and am using Osx - can someone tell me how to change the font colors... I can't seem to find where to do it. Or how to do a animated Signature line, but lets start slow ! haha

The HTML tag for font color is Type your text here. You can put in color names like red, blue, green, light blue, or the color numbers. You can find a list of those here.
