Graphics question

I was wondering where everyone gets their graphics from. Do you draw all of them yourself? If I draw something on paper how can I get it to the PSP program and what do I do to color it? I am very new to PSP and have just been playing around with it. I did do a nice little read heart using a tutorial. That was easy. I cannot figure out how some of these really detailed graphics get done. Such as fancy victorian ladies and flowers. Thanks

If you draw something and want to digitize it, you would need to scan it into the computer. Then you could open PSP and color it.

For online graphics, Mia gave great tips. :c) I find a lot of graphics by doing a google search, especially when I am looking for something specific.

Just as an example-when I made your sig, I used a birdhouse graphic already made by someone else, to start with.

If you're good at drawing, though, you can buy a special drawing tool for computer graphics.

I have the same tablet, Mia. I think mine is the Graphire 2. I have had it for around 2 years or so. I like it. I'm not that great of an artist, though. ;c) One of the cool things about the tablets is that you can put a picture onto the tablet and trace it with the pen, making a duplicate of the picture in the computer.

I have lots of fun playing around with mine and have never had a problem with the tablet being too small. It is a little different getting used to than a mouse pad because with a mouse pad when you get to an edge you can pick up the mouse and move it to the middle of the pad and continue. The way the pad works is that the edge of the pad is the edge of the screen. The middle of the pad is the middle of the screen. So if you pick up your pen and move to the middle of the pad, it moves you to the middle of the computer screen. Just takes a little getting used to, but you never run out of room.

I have to agree with you all - this is addictive! I spent at least 4 hours on the computer this morning looking at tubes and tutorials. Found a tut that I really can relate to, its for beginners. Today I worked on layers. I kind of understood about the layers before I used the tut because I learned AutoCAD 2000 a couple of years ago and
