Britney Spears will follow L.A. Reid out the door at The X Factor.
Sources confirm to TVGuide.com that Spears has quit the Fox singing competition because she knew she wasn't going to be asked back for another season.

This is SOOOOO not a shock. When she got hired I didn't think she'd last very long. Why hire people who probably won't stay? And the critics ripped her for being ineffective so buh bye!
