Oopsie..I thought about doing this late last night and then forgot.

So, what will 2013 bring us in our quest to continue with our healthy eating and exercise? What yummy foods will wbe find now and then to change things up a bit? I changed mine up a little bit today by adding a Light Laughing Cow cheese wedge to my broccoli. I hadn't had one of those in a very long time. Some of the things that you gals mention in your menus give me ideas too. So nice to  be able to come here and talk to y'all every day about our health and fitness journeys!

With our little group all at or near maintenance, I hope it doesn't keep others from joining us if they need to lose more. You've been so supportive of me with the huge amount of weight I lost last year. I am very thankful for your support, friendship, ideas and kindness! For lurkers out there, we will support your efforts too! Join in!!

Hugs..Hope the weather's warm while you're there. I'm thinking clam chowder while dining at an open seafood restaurant on a wharf. Ohhhh..if only dh and I could morph ourselves right there right now! ;)

Good, glad you're taking your techie toys with you so you can keep up.

Between yesterday and today, I lost a pound and a half, so I've already met Julie's challenge. We'll see what tomorrow will bring. Starting tomorrow I'll be hitting it harder with lower calories and such. I'll only have two weeks to get the rest off that I regained over Christmas so I can be back in my leeway at TOPS. It's going to be a tough challenge!! I'll be making soup. :)

You're eating some of my favorite foods! It will be awhile yet before I can eat any of them though. In the meantime, enjoy them for both of us! lol

My Sunday....

B) apple

L) 1/3 of dh's almond chicken with rice, 2 mandu

D) tilapia, green beans

Snack) apple, peanut butter

Donna,
Not by any oceans/wharfs per se but our hotel has a nice *lazy* river/pool,
No not going in but am going to the poolside bar to soak up warmth.
Suppose to be mid to upper 70's whole time we are there.
Actually I do think we are going to at least once seafood restaurant .. love clam chowder!

Congrats on that weight lost, YaY!
Why do you only have weeks to lose what you gained over the holidays?
I know you will succeed!
Foods look really good for today, nice!
Good luck to you this week Donna :)

Hugs...Wherever you eat that clam chowder, it's going to be great!! Lazy river pools are nice. I think I would have to get into it if I were there.

When you reach your goal and become a KOPS member (Keep Off Pounds Sensibly), you have to stay within your leeway. If you go out of leeway, you have two weeks to get back into it. That's what I'll be working for. Thank you, it's going to be hard, but I'll do it. After what the people on Biggest Loser had to do tonight, I'm sure I can do this!!

Nice menus Donna and Hugs!  And, Yay! Donna for meeting the weekend challenge!!!  Wish I could say the same:(  I made some changes to my meals and thought for sure I had it; but, last night we ate dinner too early and I ended up having pop corn and a big bowl of cereal later, which prevented the pound down......

At this lower weight, It's really hard to maintain and even harder to lose more.  I'll keep at it though....   It's a comfortable weight and my pants fit so much better!

So here is how I tweaked my typical meals:

Breakfast: Oatmeal sans the berries.

Lunch: Wraps or 1/2 sandwich sans the cheese, only one or two pretzels, an orange.

Dinner: Very small portions.

Snacks: None until last night.......

Best luck to everyone this week!

Julie..That looks like a good regular menu to follow for either losing or maintaining. Losing would depend on how much oatmeal and what was on it, what was in the waps and what size they are and what dinner is even though portions are small. Losing is do darned tricky! You think you're doing the right things and the scale says no way! So frustrating at times! You're doing great and your bit of loss will happen!! Know what you mean about pants fitting better, love that feeling!

I'll have to wait until I lose this holiday regain before I begin to figure out how I want to do maintaining. I know I'll figure out how I want to do it, just haven't given it a lot of thought yet.

Thanks, yes, my weekend loss stayed at 1½ lbs and I'm happy with that as I wasn't trying that hard. Starting today, the real work has begun! I'll have to lose 8 - 10 lbs in the next two weeks..OMG!!! Sounds impossible, but when I put my mind to it, I do it!!
