Julie...Replying here to your last post to the old thread....

Yay You!! You did great on no whoopie pies!! We both did well in making smart choices of resisting the sweets at family get togethers! Lets both of us keep up the no sugar thing until we're better cleansed of it then we can enjoy a little once in awhile, like maybe one small something once a week maybe.

s .. 2 pieces of salami w/ few crackers

Hugs..That looks more like your regular menu. Good to get away with different foods now and then and good to get back to the ol' faithful familiar menus too!

On track...Sunday....

B) cutie, 2 egg whites

L) only 1/4 of dh's almond chicken with no rice this time, 2 plain mandu

D) 4 egg whites, cabbage

Snack) apple

Going to bed nicely hungry, not starving tonight as we ate dinner late. :)

So looking forward to weighing in Tuesday night. The scale is looking good! :)

Hugs:  I was thinking exactly what Donna said.  Your menu looks more like you!  And, thanks for the kind and supportive words!!

Donna:  So, Saturday night, my Aunt insisted that we take home at least two whoopie pies!  My husband is a rock and won't eat them at all....  I struggled last night, thinking "what if I take them apart to get all the frosting and put that on 1/2 a pie".  Then add ice cream, of course!  Then I remembered the scales!  Yikes, that could ruin my whole week of hard work.  So, I resisted, thinking, "I'll have a bit of a cheat day Monday, yeah!"  THEN:  I get your message this morning about the two of us staying sugar free for a while longer................... hmmm.  We'll see how the day goes.  At this point, I'm seriously thinking of just throwing them away:(

Sunday:  Went extremely well despite how hard it was.  Like Donna, wasn't too hungry going to bed only  because we ate late for us.

Breakfast: Strawberries, yogurt.

Lunch: Salad, cup of sweet potato soup.

Dinner: LO Pasta dish.

Snacks: Turkey Jerky, small bit pop corn.

So glad  to say, all the hard work this past week paid off.  The SCALES are happy:)  I'm at 125 this morning...  125 and under, I feel really good.  Would rather see 120; but, that seems to be tough to get to.......  I'll keep trying though.
