You two are looking great!  I was away for the weekend.........  and, did OK but not great.

Made a big pot roast for company which was delicious.  They brought desert though, and I couldn't resist:(  Ate way too much sugar and the scales are not happy......

Donna:  The chia/hemp breakfast goes like this:

Put 1 T chia seeds in 1/2 cup milk and let it sit 10 minutes and stir.
Add 1 T hemp seeds
6 raw cashews
1/4 cup of berries
1 T maple syrup(optional)

It's a nice change for a healthy breakfast:)

Thanks for the hemp-chia recipe. Will have to try that.

Today I'm eating very little. Won't have much to report on later tonight for my menu. Must get this weight off FAST!!

Hugs..your menu looks okay, better than mine anyway!

I did great up until tonight....

B) apple

L) 2 oz lean steak

D) 4oz steak...then we had to go help out my DD1. Her car wouldn't start this morning, so we picked her up from work and took her home. I called AAA road service and while waiting for them to arrive, she put out a fresh veggie tray & dip and some pretzel chips. I ate too many. Then after the car was taken care of, as in towed to my mechanics, we all went out to eat, ran a couple of errands for dd and then took her home. It was nice to spend that much time with her, but I ate more at Applebees where we went. I had french onion soup, crackers and a few of DD's french fries.

When we got back home, I figured I blew it, so I had some peanut butter. I'm not going to my TOPS meeting tomorrow night!! I'm expecting a gain on my scale in the morning and just cannot make myself weigh in tomorrow night and show a gain!! I was losing and it was going to be a good weigh-in, but I blew it tonight. Back on track tomorrow.

Thanks Hugs:  You are very kind to those of us who can't seem to stay on track.  I want to be consistant and don't know why I've never been able to.....  At least I never give up and continue to try.

Your menu looks great and I know those portions are small:)  Keep up the good work!!

Hi Donna:

Don't you hate how we can get derailed like that. Things can be going perfectly well and then something happens and it all blows up! I'm feeling your pain.  You are strong though and I know you will be back on it today.  Fresh start this morning and here's to both of us going to bed HUNGRY!  I so need that hungry feeling.  Sick of being full........

I did OK in that I didn't eat any sweets Monday and ate healthy. The problem is, I ate too much:( I'm disgusted with myself so hope I can eat light AND healthy for a while..........

Wishing us all happy, healthy days ahead.

Breakfast: Cream of wheat w/ berries.

Lunch: Chicken, Egg salad (no bread), popcorners.

Dinner: Chicken, salad.

Snacks:  This is were I went wrong......  popcorn, cold cereal, more popcorn, banana, orange, raspberries, nuts.
