I am liking the way I feel.
I'm so glad to see everyone doing so well! My meals looked like this today:
Diana, saw your message on last week's Who Eats What thread about impressing the hell out of each other!! You most certainly have impressed me!! You're doing great and I like how getting off of sugar has made you feel better!! Yay you!!!
Monday ~Not too bad ..snack .. 5 croutons, 5 of each flavor of the corn nut chipslunch .. 1/2 tuna sandwichsnack .. 8 crackers, 4 pieces of salami & two string cheesedinner .. green beans & colesalw
My weekend out of town......
We got back around 3:30 this afternoon and then went to my husband's sister's for dinner at 6pm. It's been a real fun time with husband's family at a family wedding and reunion, but...ohhhh..the bad foods!!!!
We went out for breakfast before leaving town. I had an asparagus, mushroom and swiss cheese omelet, fresh fruit and wheat toast. Okay..good so far!
Later at the wedding and reception, the only foods were sandwiches, potato salad, pasta salad and potato chips!! We were really hungry by then and ate it. It didn't even taste good!! Yucky foods!! Then we had wedding cake and that was just okay, not even that was really good!! Oh, well!! Husband and I did get to dance three dances, though, and that was amazing being that I am handicapped!! I also danced an electric slide, a fun sort of cha-cha that I can't remember the name of where you are instructed to slide to the left & right and hop five times and such..really fun..plus I did the YMCA dance. Had a great time!! Maybe the dancing helped with the eating of the crappy foods!!
We went back to the reception and the bride & groom opened their gifts and we all ate...yep...left over crappy wedding foods again!!! Ackkkk!!! Hungry..ate it!! Later that evening, we went to the bride's parents home (my husband's sis & bro-in-law) and they had homemade beef veggie soup, which I ate and taco salad and a sugar free dessert. Okay, that was better.
Today, Momday, on the way home..it's a 3 ½ hour drive......
We stopped at Dairy Queen, which was the only restaurant about half way from there and home. I had a turkey sandwich, and splurged on a small coffee milk shake.
Everyone did well for their meals ...good day for everyone.:smileyvery-happy:
