Okay, so one other sister dropped out, so it's only me and one other...oddly enough the only two who never had a problem and never cancelled anything and were the only two who were willing to go with the flow of changes!

We're going to try and hook up in NYC for a 2 night 3 day mini vaca and see a matinee show, meet some cousins, and eat well! I can't wait. Might be a wee bit more expensive than camping, but at least I know I'm practically GUARANTEED a good time!

Thanks for all the support. Now if only I could farm my teenagers out....lol

Actually, sister No 2 just backed out of these plans as well. So, now one sister and I are going to plan a trip and if anyone wants in, they have to do what we want to do! LOL - I am never making a group plan with them again. I can't wait till one of my girlfriends has grown children so I can go away with them!

We're "planning" (a word which holds no significance to me anymore! lol) to take out mid-week trip to NYC in early July or late August. It doesn't matter to me when, just as long as we ge to go! I think we're going to see the broadway play "Wicked" - can't wait!

Actually, my 15dd is in the process of being rediagnosed with Bi-polar or a "mood disorder' as some like to call it. She was diagnosed with Tourettes. ADHD, and OCD years ago when she was about 10. Things were then kept under control until this last Fall when she decided to stop taking her meds. Well, things have reached a head in recent weeks and now we're back to square one with her. Fortunately, she's agreed to take one antidepressant which helps considerably. In the meantime, it's one day at a time, as they say.

Wouldn't it be so cool to see this mass of women just sightseeing and laughing through the streets of NYC? How exciting that you lived there! I have family and friends there, but I grew up on Long Island, out east...I was not much of a city dweller, like my sisters who know thier way around blindfolded!
