Anyone else here love candles (I think I recall someone saying it in our ABC game)?

We don't usually light candles very often but when we do I like the ones that remind me of food, lol! This time of year I tend to light them once in a while and will usually be vanilla, apple cinnamon, pumpkin spice, gingerbread, sugar cookie - that type of scent.

>I usually get a pine scented one around Christmas because we put up an artificial tree.<

I'm glad I'm not the only person who does that:) LOL!!! Some years we get a real tree but this year we put up our artificial one so I went out that night and bought a pine scented candle, OK I'm not so weird after all;)

But to answer the question: Yes I love to light candles and have lots around my house. Some scents I use are: 3-in-1 candles by Glade ocean breeze, holiday spice or something like that. I love apple cinnamon, pear, cucumber melon, pine, gingerbread cookies, grandma's baking, anyone notice how it's mostly food smells:)

I only have a couple places I can burn a candle. I'm always paranoid ds will knock it over, touch it etc. He knows hot, but...paranoid. When I burn them I use the Glade or Wizard the Cucumber melon & jasmine mist are 2 faves, but none I've used smell bad. I like finding new scents.
I will do this a lot especially in winter, but also in summer. With controlled climate, the air is soooo dry. I put a big pot of water on the stove & put citrus zest, cloves & cinammon oil in it. As it steams the kitchen, it smells so good. Other combos throw in ginger (fresh or ground) nutmeg, go easy on cloves, that stinks easy if I over do it. I've even put pepper mixtures & fresh herbs in it.
I still like candles though.
