Busy week for me.

Youngest ds is moving out of his apt and back home "temporarily".  So today and tomorrow we're moving his stuff in. So much for my decluttering schemes.  :smileyhappy:

Wednesday my dd starts her new volleyball season with daily practices which means she'll be coming home moaning and groaning with ice packs all over her sore body.

There's a get together for the parents Wed evening, to meet the new team and the new coach. Exciting and it's all coming up fast.

I remember on Two and a Half Men that Charlie's brother moved in "temporarily" and he's still there....LOL
My ds never moved back home after college...dd on the hand was like a boomerang..
Hope all goes well with your ds living at home again...adjustments for everyone...

Good luck to your dd and her team this year....ouch on the sore body...

thanks Fran,  yes she should have been working out all summer but hasn't much and will surely pay for it.  I just hope she doesn't injure herself.

Oh fun on having ds home for a while Karyn,
Will he be working still?
LOL on your dd & her moaning .. just for a while though.
Fun for her & you to see the games again.
How neat on the get together .. that should be fun as well.
Have a great week :smileyhappy:

Yes, he's still working.  Finished moving out this morning.  We'll be working all day putting his stuff in the basement, will sort through and get rid of a lot of it.

Hoping dd doesn't injure herself.  But yes, love watching her games.  Have been watching Olympic volleyball too.  I told her she is good enough to make the Olympic team but that's just the mom in me talking. lol

it's stuff like spider webs in the corners and general picking up. mo tells me not to worry about it, it will be there. i just hate seeing the stuff and not doing anything about it. right now though, i am in so much pain i can only sit with my feet up.

I have to make it an easy week this time.  Just do a couple things a day.

So did the l.r. today and that will be all unless I feel like something else inside later.

Outside is a different story - it's been pleasant the last couple of days - well in comparision to the 100+ degree days - 90 right now seems cool lol.

I'd rather be out there in between lying down from blah blah blah pain -

Watering on a drip  - did my giant zinnia, purple coneflowers (which are in the shade early), caladiums, sweet pepper plant, a bean plant, now another bean plant, got the best melon plants yesterday.  I need a new sprayer so I can mist them but at this point I'm only watering the most promising plants so I guess it's all the same.

So watering is kind of like having an extra-leaky faucet - we'll see how much I end up paying in water for growing my own lol.  I just want ONE nice melon, please, just one??  Divide it between my neighbors and my kids and we'll all get a tiny taste & hope it's good.

And continuing cleaning up around the yard - not a lot - want to come up with a plan for some white marble stones I've had forever.  Also am raking some paths in the yard to clear all the acorns so I can go barefoot :smileyhappy:  Have one going to the veggie garden, want another from there to the flowers.

Also want to get the drive swept & car cleaned out :: shock ::  As long as it is nice out those things will be fun if slow.  I love my shade but there's always sticks or nutshells to deal with - not that I always do - just enjoying it not being so daggone stifling outside.

I been on the phone with dsW's doc & PT place - nobody knows anything about any PT orders for him ... so called him to see if he has a paper & left a message.  But, last week the doc said they'd call me ... I'm confused!  Will try again tomorrow.

A few errands this week.

I heard of a way to stay cooler using a fan.  You fill milk cartons & the like with water, freeze them, then put them in front of your fan - I will let you know how it works, could save me a couple bucks & offer some comfort in the l.r. on really hot days.  That and dunking my head in the sink - j/k -

Other than that, a chore or two a day, enjoy the outdoors ... work as I can on crafts, trying to keep the faith there.  AND I need a new book to read!

wow busy busy busy Diana as usual

I get all my water at one price so i can water as much as i want.

The ice jugs should work. i used to do a lot of baths or showers with hot water...then the air was way cooler when i got out. sadly there goes the water bill too.

we are in a major money crunch right now. arliss here so an extra mouth too. i barely eat...grant and arliss love food.

A friend of mine uses a dish try in her sink to wash dishes and takes the water left out to hert flowers. she bales a lot of the tub water and does the trees too.

keep on growing and crafting girl...

also how did ther inspections go. how is the fixing going too

Ya i am so disapointed in the way thomas is acting now. We , in helping him out, have managed to phase our selves out of thomas`s and gregs lives. with the help of both boys inlaws. The good guy always looses out for sure

My dh sleeps late and is bozo for awhile when he does wake up.
By the time he's fully awake, it's too hot out!! ::sigh::
It'll cool down soon though.

my dh wont wake at a decent time either...then takes hours to get his butt in gear...ticks me right off
