Have you started yours...

Have you started your spring cleaning and organizing? No.

What have you done? Thought about it for a few seconds..lol!

What do you need to do? Flower beds..change front porch theme to spring..will do in a couple of weeks. Windows need washing, will hire that done maybe next month.

Purging..What do you need to do? Garage and basement needs purging, but we'll probably keep putting it off.

Do you change anything over in your house to spring stuff? Oh, maybe some new throw pillows and a different table centerpiece.

Anything else indoors you would love to get done? We're going to get our living room, dining, kitchen and maybe entrance and hallway repainted. I need to pick out colors and make an appointment for the painters to come. Would also like to buy new dining chairs, but the chairs are not in the budget.

I have been dreaming of flowers and doing stuff with my front yard. Do you put a wreath up ^ what else do you do to your front porch? Grant will be on window duty lol

Yes, I have different seasonal wreaths I use. I put one on either of two walls. I also have two wicker arm chairs that I change the fabrics on the seat cushions and throw pillows of. I also have large pots of silk flowers that I change according to the season.

Ya i would love to get the basement done too. If i could get grant to part with stuff....if only!!

My husband is a "let's save this just in case we need it" kind of guy and I'm a throw it out or give it away to Goodwill kind of gal!! We're too old now for "someday we might need it" anymore!! We are living in our "someday"!! Most of the time I win, but he still has lots of crap he can't part with. Geez!! It's not like if we need it 10 years from now we can't go out and buy it!! In ten years we'll be 77 and 81 years old!! I doubt we'll need that crap!!

Ya i need a new table runner too. I have been thinking of new pillows for the livingroom too

I'll see what I want to change after the painting gets done.

I hear you on the painting...we want to do the whole inside this year too. As for chairs...we have 4 matching ones and dh broke one...so we will be looking arround the second hand stores while in winnipeg. we are willing to strip and restain/paint if needed. i have recovered kitchen chairs before too. so hopefully i can find something nice there.
