Helicopters are so noisy

and that was yesterday at 6:30 pm to 7ish . They were flying over our homes...never a good sign. Either an accident or they were looking for people running away into backyards.

Went to a nearby gas station  this morning and found out that  across the street there was a shooting at a store yesterday evening. Awful , all these times it has been nice and peaceful. Hope the police got the people shooting.

We've had those helicopters fly way too close to the house...makes me very nervous....

I worry about them crashing....sometimes they fly really low and to near the house...

   yup that is scary too.

I imagine though, what it must be like for people living near or in a war zone.  It must be awful.    yes for the war zone.

Hi Ludam -

Yes, that story was on our local news.  I didn't understand why something in NYC would be on our news, but figured it was because of the nearness of the shooting to the Empire State Building.

When I stayed with my parents at times when they lived in New Jersey, the evening news was little else but murders and robberies - at least that I can remember.  It was shocking to me, being from the midwest.

I live by a bunch of fields - not just the one next to me - so every time a helicopter flies low by my house, I figure they're looking for marijuana lol -never thought they'd be looking for someone - it doesn't happen often so when it does I like to go look.

I imagine though, what it must be like for people living near or in a war zone.  It must be awful.

I live about 7 miles from a Navy base. We don't hear guns but sure can hear when they start those jets. They don't fly over the house as much as they used to...usually just when a squadron comes home...that can be very noisy...        Ooooh that is even closer.  Oboy on the landings noise.
