I saw on one of the daytime talk shows where they had three adults up holding signs "myth" or "true" - one statement was that the biggest group of online daters are those in their 50s and older.

It's true!

How 'bout that!

Too bad y'all are taken :)

It's also important to post a photo that really looks like you. If you use one from when you were younger or whatever, the man will know you're not so honest when he meets you in real life and you don't look like your photo. Best to be real. Good luck, let us know how it goes.

I have a pic from Christmas that I cropped to just show me, for whatever reason, I think to show here on the board for a bit.

They do that on Eharmony.com. My husband and I were both on that website, too, but never saw each other there. Neither of us had good luck there and didn't stick around there long. I met a couple of rude men from there with poor sense of humors. I only emailed a couple of times with them and only through the website, never from my personal email addy, and in no way would meet them in real life. Eharmony asks way too many questions and then you send the question sheet to the person you're communicating with and they answer questions from the list and it goes back and forth like that. I thought it was a bad idea!! My husband thought the same thing even though our paths never crossed on that website.
