When we moved into our current home, we kept the TV out of the bedroom and while I do read in bed some nights (but not in a long time) it really is used for sleep and sex only.

Naps- according to Dr. Oz (they had a show on this last week) they should take place between 1 and 4 and should not last long, 15-30 minutes only. He also suggests that an hour before bedtime be technology free but so many of us fall asleep to the TV.

I've noticed when I have a regular workout schedule I sleep better at night.

We've never had a tv in the bedroom, but I do read at night.

I never heard that naps should be during those times!

I've also heard/read that the scent of lavender makes one calmer and relaxed.
