It was very long and very tiring for Mommy. DH was at a conference about 1 1/2 hours away pretty much from Friday 10:00 am to Sunday 3:00 pm (he came home at night but pretty late and had to leave really early). My younger DS (17 months) was sick most of Friday night from an antibiotic he was on for an ear infection - so 3 times I had to get up to strip him and his bed. Saturday was fairly uneventful but I was tired from being up a lot the night before. Sunday I took my older DS (6 years) to get a haircut and on the home I discovered that he had a stomache bug - threw up all over the car. He was sick ALL day Sunday and my younger DS was experienceing some diarhea which was causing quite a mess as well. I was never so happy to see DH when he got home. Fortunately older DS seems much better today but DH thinks he has the stomache bug so I think I'll be cancelling our appointment for HOliday pictures today.

So its now MOnday and I"m back at work but pretty worn out.

Nice, then tiring and painful, lol! I met my dd for a movie on Saturday (that was the nice part), then, Saturday night, while dh and I were at the store, my knee started to hurt! I have no idea why! I didn't twist it or anything, it just hurt! A lot!

Sunday I was going to rest it, but I got called in to work for a gal who had called in sick. I wanted the practice anyway, and I HAD put my name down as being available, so I went in. I guess I did okay, and did need the practice, but oh, did my knee hurt after 6 and a half hours on it! And my feet! I just dragged myself to the car and went home to try to rest my knee and feet, but this morning my knee still hurt like crazy! If I wear my tennis shoes, though, it isn't so bad. Too bad I can't wear my tennis shoes at work! I'll have to try to find some shoes that are as supportive and comfy as these tennies, but look good enough for work.

I just hope my knee feels better by Friday, when I have to work again!

Yes, it's done this before, but never for days. Usually it eases up overnight or I can favor it a little and "walk it off", if it's just a twinge. It's... okay today, if I'm careful not to twist it.

I was taking Advil, and today I'm taking Tylenol 8 hour, and I've got an ace bandage on it today, hoping to give it some support. I may wear the bandage to work on Friday, just as a precaution.

I think it's arthritis. I've mentioned it to my doctor and she's said that if it gets really bothersome, to let her know and she'll "see what she can do". So far (till this latest time) it hasn't been bad or lasted too long, so, because I hate taking more medicine than I absolutely feel I have to (don't laugh, it's true, especially prescriptions, lol), I'm waiting to see if it'll get better on its own - again.

Thanks for asking!

It finally feels pretty good today. I kept an ace bandage on it for support the past few days, but I still had problems with it whenever I'd take it off (when it bothered me too much to keep it on, lol. It feels pretty good this morning, but I think I'll still wrap it up when I work today. I don't need to have it start hurting then!

But that bandage is SO annoying to have on all day, so I'm crossing my fingers that I won't need it much longer!
