Good morning! I had an up and down weekend! On Friday I received some long awaited news. My doctor had thought he found some precancerous cells in my annual test and had to do a retest. Friday I finally got the call that it was a false alarm. What a relief!

Saturday,I spent the whole day with my 7 year old trying to decide what theme he wanted for his birthday party. Except he kept going back and forth and almost started an argument between DH and I..KIDS!

Sunday was the 1 years anniversary of my DH'd beloved grandmother. We spent most of the morning at the cemetery. And the rest of the day reminiscing.

So there was some good and some bad...and some sad. But all and all, a good weekend!

My weekend was nice. I met dd for lunch and a movie. We saw "Birth", which was pretty weird and not worth the cost to see, IMO.

I'm still nervous about the job (I did tell you I have a job, didn't I?). I go for computer orientation today. I'm even nervous about that! I don't know why, I know computers and won't be interacting with customers (that's Wednesday, eek!), and it's only a couple of hours, so why is my stomach in knots?

Gosh, you were up early, or late, or something! I should have logged on. Something woke me up and I had a hard time getting back to sleep.

We, my kids, had a 4 day weekend. UGH. Like I really needed that just 2 weeks before Thanksgiving! I was very glad to send them back to school today so I could have some quiet time. Dh's boss had his girls for the 4 days so we played...a lot. And we went out to ride horses on Saturday. (Yes, this time I on top of one instead of under it!) Yesterday was a sit at home and watch movies day after all the activity.

It is going to be crazy here for the next couple of days so I'm trying to keep the list of things to do today short. I still need a nap!

Yes, I am very relieved about my test!!!

For my son, we actually ended up buying the lord of the rings invites but that's all they had...no cake, plates, decorations..NOTHING! He finally realized he was going to have such a plain party that we had to go back and get the Harry potter stuff. It's actually going to be lots of fun. I have planned for the kids to decorate wizard hats and have little pretzel treats that look like broom sticks planned. He wants the kids to drink from golden goblets. Should be really neat.
