Sorry it took me so long to see this question!

The job is going okay, although I'm going to have to find better shoes! I hurt my knee on Saturday (not at work, just walking around a store) and worked 6 hours on it on Sunday, so it was killing me yesterday, just walking around the house. Today I've got it wrapped up, trying to support it, and it is somewhat better if I wear my comfy, supportive tennis shoes, but I can't wear tennies at work, so I've got to find something that feels like an athletic shoe, but doesn't look like one, LOL!

I still feel really inexperienced and dumb, but not quite so much as I did during "buddy training" last Wednesday, when I think I made every mistake a person could make! And I'm worried about a transaction I made on Sunday, but I don't know why! When I gave the person change, I just "felt" it was wrong! The register showed the amount I was to give, and I'm pretty sure I keyed in the right amount that I was given, but something about it felt odd! I hope I didn't screw up and cost the company money, or that they think I stole it and can me!

And I have a gripe... People who are experienced should NOT swoop in and do something at a trainee's register, rattling off a quick "I'm taking $5 (something) ...add it to the envelope you get", and then race off! I still don't know what she did, or if *she* was adding it to the envelope of change I was getting, or *I* was supposed to or what! And if asked, I couldn't even say who it was! I might recognize her, but after only two days, I don't know their names, and didn't notice her tag.

Ack! I'm making myself paranoid about what may be waiting for me when I go to work on Friday, LOL!

Sorry I rambled on so much, guess this was on my mind more than I thought!

Yes, I am very relieved about my test!!!

For my son, we actually ended up buying the lord of the rings invites but that's all they had...no cake, plates, decorations..NOTHING! He finally realized he was going to have such a plain party that we had to go back and get the Harry potter stuff. It's actually going to be lots of fun. I have planned for the kids to decorate wizard hats and have little pretzel treats that look like broom sticks planned. He wants the kids to drink from golden goblets. Should be really neat.

Gosh, you were up early, or late, or something! I should have logged on. Something woke me up and I had a hard time getting back to sleep.

We, my kids, had a 4 day weekend. UGH. Like I really needed that just 2 weeks before Thanksgiving! I was very glad to send them back to school today so I could have some quiet time. Dh's boss had his girls for the 4 days so we played...a lot. And we went out to ride horses on Saturday. (Yes, this time I on top of one instead of under it!) Yesterday was a sit at home and watch movies day after all the activity.

It is going to be crazy here for the next couple of days so I'm trying to keep the list of things to do today short. I still need a nap!

My weekend was nice. I met dd for lunch and a movie. We saw "Birth", which was pretty weird and not worth the cost to see, IMO.

I'm still nervous about the job (I did tell you I have a job, didn't I?). I go for computer orientation today. I'm even nervous about that! I don't know why, I know computers and won't be interacting with customers (that's Wednesday, eek!), and it's only a couple of hours, so why is my stomach in knots?
