I DID IT!!! Tonight I reached my TOPS weightloss goal!! Altogether since a couple of months before I joined TOPS, I've lost 71 lbs! My TOPS total weightloss since joining in January 2010, is 63 lbs!! Yay me!! So very happy I did this!! Very well worth all the efforts, passing up foods, taking my own foods with me to restaurants, peoples homes, on vacation trips and so forth. Well worth it all!! I can walk better with less effort and pain, my arthritis pain is gone, off of blood pressure medication and all of my blood counts are very good!! Oh, and having to buy a whole new wardrobe is so much fun!! Expensive, but loving it!!

Thank you to everyone who was so supportive of what I've been doing. My biggest supporter is my sweet husband who has been so patient and wonderful through all of this. So thankful for my fantastic TOPS Chapter, they are the best!!! My greatest message board supporter is a dear lady called "Hugs"! Grateful for my Sandbox and Time-Out fitness threads friends!! Thank you dear ones for always and ever being encouraging and positive with me!! Loving {{{HUGS}}} to so many who have stood by me!! This has been one of the hardest and most rewarding things I have ever done in my life!!

Now the hard part begins...maintenance! It happens to be something that I'm pretty good at though. Losing was not my strong point before making this commitment, but maintenance wasn't that hard before doing this. I can do it!!

Congratulations Donna!  That is so much weight!  You were so disciplined and determined and a role model for us all.  Great you are off the meds and feeling better.  Enjoy your success!

Karyn and Hugs...Thank you!! I am so happy to finally get to this point! I was so tired of doing it!! Last night and today was a nice break when I could eat different foods. Tomorrow it will be back to the diet grind to undo whatever the mean ol' scale punishes me with when I step on it in the morning..LOL!! Thank you for your encouragement and support, it really means a lot!!

Hugs..Oh, yes, I'll be enjoying the foods that I've missed, but just a little bit at a time. Don't want to start gaining!! Oh, gosh, that would scare the heck out of me!! Will use the ol' moderation thing!! I'll try to follow your example! Well, with an apple and some veggies thrown in too though!! LOL

I know you will be very careful but am so happy you can enjoy more now .. moderation/portion size of course :)

Thanks gals!! I'll admit that I haven't been very careful, though, and have gained a few pounds!! Surprised

The undoing of the damage begins tomorrow!! It's going to be a very hard few days reacclimating to eating a lot less and less flavorful foods again!! I can do it!! Good thing I have my next TOPS meeting on January 8th as a deadline to keep me going!!

I know you two have been doing a lot better at this than I have been doing!! I need to follow your example!! Reaching goal right before Christmas week with so many goodies around was bad timing for me!! So fun getting to taste foods that I haven't had in months!! The undoing is going to be a killer!!
