I Tried...The No Gadget Day....

I did not say I was going to do it all the way. I just picked the computer since I am on this computer more than tv, cell phone, mp3 player, etc.

I gave up and it was 2 to 3 hours more ...oh well. I tried.

I know it was for no gadget and tech day...the whole thing like car, etc. I needed the car to drive to my appointment which used a digital machine so that was out for me.

Will I do it again ?

Good job on giving it a try, Aileen. Think I could probably go most of the day without the tv (would be watching it in the evening with dh) and have gone days without the mp3 player. Couldn't go without the cell phone and could probably go a number of hours maybe even a whole day with out the computer.

Sounds like a break from the computer is just what you need...not good if you're not enjoying it...

Yes may take a summer break. I like to look for books and other things.

Maybe it is my allergy draggy feeling.

Sorry your having problems with allergies....hope you start feeling better soon.

Taking a break during the summer months will give you time to do things you enjoy. Of course you will be missed but I think you should do it if you feel the need.
