I've heard a few people mention that they're only can see new threads, not replies, so I'm starting a new thread to answer more questions, just to be safe.
Have I shared the thread where you can check for updates on various bug fixes? I'm starting to forget who I've told what, lol. Is it Friday yet?
Okay, here are some additional questions I've seen- if you don't see yours answered, please don't hesitate to ask again. I'm trying to make it to each of my boards at least once a day but am also answering people through email and PM's too.
Changing Font Colors: It's a feature that they will have to build and add on later.(After all the major bugs and other craziness dies down). I agree, it was nice to have.
Editing a Post: Yep, you should be able to edit your own post. I just tested it in a non-moderator name and was able to.
Replying to Yourself: This is on the list of 'known bugs"
Newest to Oldest Not Sticking: is this for replies (where it says "Views replies by", right next to "itmes per page".) or for threads? (the option that appears under "thread options"). Unforunately, I don't have a time frame for it to start "sticking". It's definitely on the list of bugs but probably not as high of a priority as fixing all the issues on the mobile site, for example.
Speaking of issues on the mobile site... I don't own an iPad (sniff!) so I don't have a lot of first-hand knowledge about the issues but I do know it's pretty high on the priority list. I also found a thread about it on the iVillage Help board :
Threads remembering where you left off: aka, "thread memory". Jessica Dukes, our Community Director talked aobut a "Mark as New/Mark as Read" feature in the thread I linked to above but I *think* what you're asking about is different, right? To me, "mark as new/red", is what you can select for whole threads but "thread memory" is for the actual messages in a thread, and it remembers for you where you left off. I'll be sure to ask about it!
How to Bookmark a board in Chrome: scroll down the board a bit, at the bottom of the list of threads, you'll see "see all threads on this board". Click on that. You'll then see "Board Options"- mouse over that and in the drop down menu you'll see the option to subscribe.
Subscribe: It's a feature where if you are subscribed to a thread, you'll receive an email when a new reply is posted. Unfortunately, it's currently not working but it's definitely on the "known issues" list.
As always, thanks so so so so much for your patience! Things are getting better everyday. I know a major bug was fixed just today (login issues using Internet Explorer were fixed).
