i do have a picture, but it's not on the computer yet. maybe by the end of the week or next i will put it on.

mo decided bobbye and i would meet at the cracker barrel in mesquite, texas last friday. we left mom's house just before 7 and headed north. when we were almost to the exit i got a text from bobbye saying she and gary were already there. i told her we would be there in a minute.

nobody took a picture of when we first saw each other but it was like getting together with someone i have known all my life. mo could not believe that we could talk for three hours straight and hardly ever stop for a breath. lol

we talked about everything, Thanksgiving, their trip to estes park, my upcoming trips. bobbye asked mo if he didn't want to move back to texas and he said no.

you could not have asked to meet two nicer people than bobbye and gary. it was so very hard to say goodbye to each other. mo said that maybe in the next year or so we could fly over there to see them. we will have to wait and see. after all the anticipation leading up to meeting it was over way too fast.

i'd come see ya again in a heartbeat bobbye!!

Love the new holiday siggy Ellen,

thanks i got it last night and love it.

over 30 but not sure of the exact number. i'm supposed to meet a couple of girls from delphi forums after the first of the year for lunch. i'm hoping that works out.

i love meeting online friends in person. or even talking to them on the phone. then you put a face or voice with the message and hear it in your head while you read what they have to say. silly, i know, but i just love it.

So happy you and Bobbye had such a wonderful meeting...It is so much fun to meet online friends. I know what you mean about putting a face or voice to the person.....if it's silly to feel that way, then we are both silly:smileyhappy:

I hope someday we will be able to meet in Houston...

it's amazing how many great people you meet on the net. seeing them in person makes it that much more special.
