Hey Diana I love your slogan and it is so true!!! And your mom is correct. never heard it put that way but she is correct if you are a sissy you ain't gonna be able to handle old age and the aches and pains that come with it.

I have been going to a massage therapist for nearly 5 yrs now. She gives me a good deal on the price because I have been going to her for so long. BUT now that I am going to this chiro I can't afford both. AND with him my ins pays a good part of it with the mass. therapist it all comes out of my pocket.

Probably if I had stuck with that last chiro I was going to a couple of yrs ago I would of been better off than doing just the massage. Leave and learn I guess.

can understand what you are going through. my neighbor who just got out of the hospital from surgery is probably feeling the same way. That he is getting older and all these things are happening to him. He still is suffering from the sciatica pain for 2 months .

I can honestly say I have not had one day since I started hurting of me being pain free and it is really beginning to get to me. Some days I hurt worse than others.

It was so nice when this dr. said..yes you can get rid of this hurt and we are going to get you fixed. A lot better than what my family dr. of 15+ yrs said..He told me to just learn to live with the pain..

Okay, now we're getting someplace!! This sounds like a good beginning!! On the foods, if you google..Nightshade Plants..you'll find the ones he mentioned and more and that these cause inflammation in the body and, therefore, a source of pain. Sounds crazy, but it's worth a try staying away from them. I am a big supporter of healthy eating!! Most people that I know of personally don't really understand what "healthy" eating actually is. It's a term often misused by the food industry to boost sales of foods that are not healthy at all!! I'm glad this man is leading you in the right direction!

Here's some more information on foods that cause inflammation and pain. Making these changes can be confusing at first, but it gets easier and becomes natural to you in time. Keep researching and studying, maybe look for public forums on the topic, making lists and learn how to shop differently. Search at websites that do not have something to sell, that are only providing reliable information.

Just losing weight alone can help with arthritis and your knees! You're going to feel better soon!! It does take time, though, and it's a lifetime thing to keep up with. I'm excited for you, keep us informed!

Ohh Donna YES YES YES that is what he called them I couldn't remember I knew he called them something. I was just hurting so bad that day I don't remember a lot about it. I will go look that up right now.

And you are right losing weight does help my knees so much. Without even getting on the scales I know when I have gained or lost.

ok off to do some research on this.

Thanks girlfriend!!

no don't have a clue why on those 3 things.

I just took this assessment for him to set up me up on what to eat...it asked some of the dumbest questions...asked

are you financial happy????

are you happy with your sex life?

does it hurt when you have sex?

WTF????? what the hell does that have to do with food?????

Sorry this made me laught...did he ask the color, texture and smell of your poo too.

I can see the stress part..maybe he thinks if you are net getting that loving feeling or if the milkman when he comes no longer brings flowers ...just wants to party...that may be bringing you down lmbo!!

you just never know what they will ask.

Grant was asked stuff like this on his sleeping test...over and over in different ways...so annoying and embarassing too

Glenda same here. they asked the same question over and over..I wished I had a place to have said..HEY STUPID..I have already answered that once..lol

Good you're getting it taken care of Bobbye.

Sounds like a lot coming up especially with the diet, but you can do it and think how much better you're going to feel!

Will you have exercises too?

Karyn I told him about riding my stat. bike and he said that was ok. And that is far as the exercise talk has gone. But I have just started so we will see about more exercises

I wish my insurance paid for chiropractic.
