There are certain things that I love to do/clean while DH is away ..
Am sure that doesn't make a lot of sense but it is hpw I feel.
Yes my friend that I walk with her DH travels weekly for his job :(
So when my DH goes away we always try to do something together <wink>

Hugs..My project motivation is partly due to mild weather, but more because I poked around the Decorating board here, love that board, such good ideas the CL Carol posts there. Also got motivated due to a family member mentioning on FB a painting project she's working on. Also because I need to change the front porch to a Valentine's theme and those chairs were really in need of painting. After the chairs are finished, I'll be choosing a paint color and painting the front entrance door. Catching up on things I've been putting off for way too long.
Thank you, dh's surgery will be fine. We both hope we can go out for breakfast afterwards too. If not, though, I'll cook some breakfast for him at home.
Oh, I always wear gloves while doing my painting and other projects. Must protect the nails doncha know..lol! I always enjoy getting them done though.
Yea, kind of quiet, but not so much, just right. Mostly I'll be tending to whatever dh needs as his eye heals.

A quiet week for me this week
Not a bad thing.
Walking with my friend Tuesday & hopefully one other day.
Out to dinner with her on Wednesday.
So nice to have a friend to do things with while your dh is away.
DH will be out of town Wednesday til Saturday.
So that means I will clean the house a bit I hope.
So,he'll be out of your way while you clean and you'll be happy to have him home again.

Monday...Worked on a project. After dh got home from his Red Cross volunteer work, we ran to Minards for spray primer. Then we swept out the garage. Next we cleaned, brushed, vacuumed and primed our two wicker front porch chairs. Just hanging out the rest of the day.
Tuesday...We'll put the first coat of paint on the wicker chairs. That night is my TOPS meeting.
Wednesday...DH gets cataract surgery in the morning. After that I'll take him out for breakfast if he feels up to it. Otherwise, I'll get him comfy at home and then paint the final coat of paint on the wicker chairs.
Thursday...I'll take dh in for his eye surgery recheck. Then I'll do Valentine's Day decorating on the front porch with the newly pained chairs.
Friday...Getting my nails done.
Saturday...DH goes to his mens book study in the morning if his eyes feel okay to do so. No other plans.
Sunday...Sunday school, church and out for Chinese dinner. No other plans.
We'll be watching lots of movies too.
