Go Looking anyplance else for yarns. I have been to Walmart and nothing much there. I went to Kmart and walked around and found nothing either. I will just stay with Michael's and Joann Fabrics. There are no other yarn shops around anymore.

Did you get your yarn?

I get my yarn at Michael's.  They have a good selection and always have that 40% off coupon.  You can get that coupon online.

The Joann's here is pretty far from me so don't go there often but it's a nice store.

I love the shell stitch too!  I made a little baby afghan in soft yellow with the shell stitch a few years ago.

You're lucky you have a Joann's close too.

You're lucky you have a Joann's close too.   the store was closer in my city , but it was very small. New one opened near my mother's place and it is bigger.

Our Joann's is pretty new and very big.  It has everything!  But Michael's is closer for me and I like it too.

What color are you making the afghan?

What color are you making the afghan?   Was going to make the 6 color project for the CAL but decided to do just one color instead, so I have these yarns in different colors . I will use them for the afghan ...carrot, purple, left over white, greens, brown.

Yep, that's Martha.  She has a K & C board on ivillage and on cm.   :smileyhappy:

The CAL's are probably the same ones.
