what do you do when you plan a trip....
Do you research the trip yourself, call a travel agent, or just drive?
Do you have a strict budget, little budget or none?
Do you buy a new wardrobe, a few things, or go as you are?
Will you go for a vacation that is hot, cold or somewhere inbetween?
Where ever you go do you...want to see and do everything, sit on a beach or other?

what brought these questions on...well first of all the travel thread and then my booking of a two night stay in winnipeg next month for dh`s appt. Got a good online price deal on the room....now what to do while there. Dh wanted to go to a Jets game...but you have to go on a list to be drawn for tickets they are that much in demand

we once stayed at a super 8. never again. thin blankets, bedspread was dirty, no extra pillows and the front desk didnt give out extras either. now this was a hotel that was within a year old. The walls were paper thin. we hadly slept
too bad they did not have those comment cards then you can complain .
we have told some and gone online and left complaints...but some things like not changing blankets, bedspeads, and other stuff alll the time is policy. The hotel 8 has a policy they dont give out extra pillows. that is why they are bargain
understand on bargain.
