Tonight we went to our Botanical Gardens Illuminations Christmas display. The weather was great at 60ºF during the day and 55º tonight with little breeze. There were a lot of people there, but they all kept moving along and were spaced so not so crowded. There were lights everywhere and luminarias along both sides of every path with lighted chimineas spaced along paths, too, for a wee bit of warmth. There were three sections where the lights were computer timed to "dance" with the music playing. It was so beautiful and good exercise walking around too.
Photos do not do it justice at all, but you'll get a little bit of an idea. I haven't learned the fancy tricks with my new camera, yet, only the basics. I need to learn how to take shots without the flash.
The blue hanging lights that look like grape clusters were one of my favorites. I wish I could have gotten a better photo. They were all hanging in an arbor and so very beautiful against the night sky.......

Donna those pictures are awesome!! We didnt even go look at lights this yr first time we haven't done that in yrs. Guess we were just grinches around here..been kinda a weird Christmas for us.

Thank you everyone, glad you enjoyed seeing my photos. Yes, the weather here has been fantastic!! Today it reached 64º, sunny with almost no breeze. It won't last long, but many are enjoying being outside while we can with walkers and runners out, the zoo parking lot was pretty full, lots of people in the park, some were enjoying lunch outside of restaurants dining al fresco, so very nice to start January!!
never seen those grape lights. interesting.
They're just blue LED lights like these. They clump a bunch together to make them look like a cluster of grapes, then add green ones for leaves. They were selling them at Target. I used to see them when we did our exercise walking in there over Christmas and I wondered what different ways people could use them...now I know one way...lol....
