Hugs...We had my two youngest grandkids here the day before TDay as school was closed, so they helped me put my Dickens Village together. Then Saturday dh and I put our table top tree up. We keep it decorated and just take it downstairs after Cmas with the decorations still on it. I tighten the hooks well and we cover it with an old bed sheet to keep the dust off. Nice to just bring it up, set up the table and fabric draped under it and it's done! Yesterday we put the wreaths on the outside garage lights. I also changed the fabrics on the porch wicker chair cushions and throw pillows, we hung the two wreaths on the porch and put out my little sledding guy and that's it...done!! We don't put lights around windows or anything like that, we use the "less is more" theme..LOL! We did have lighted reindeer on the front lawn, but they're too old now and lights don't come on anymore. I may get something to replace them maybe.

Hope your back is much better by now. Wish I could send my cleaning lady your way. She's a good cleaner, very reasonably priced and so nice to have.

Nice to have help like you did Donna,
I agree on the less & will try that myself this year <g>
Thing is when the guys come home they love to see all the stuff as we have had over the years.
Too bad it is just DH & I decorating though .. least the guys are here to help take it down though.

Every time I do anything my back reminds me I shouldn't be, LOL
Maybe one day on the maid for us :)
