I guess it leans mostly towards being country-ish. My kitchen is mostly country with pine cabinets and a pine table, a little worn looking, but not shabby (except that danged floor, which I am itching to replace)with colors of medium burgundy cabinet doors and natural wood backgrounds and white porcelain knobs. My living room is very comfortable, woth some country decorations, but mostly scattered with my children's artwork throughout and lots of grapevine wreaths, the colors are sage/olive greens and burgundies with touches of creams and slate blue undertones. My bathroom is pretty simple, mostly pastels. And each bedroom is decorated to personal taste. My 17dd's room is bright tangerine orange with some stenciling of moons and stars all over, the trim is like a canteloupe color and the "curtains" are basically just tapestries that we picked up at a local funky shop that has a giant sun face with golds, orange, reds and black - I also used these to make a curtain for her closet instead of the sliding doors - and she has a futon. My 15dd's room is light blue with celestial prints on the walls and border, & a pale blue sheer curtain - she has her matresses on the floor and lots of pillows and blankets everywhere (not to mention all her clothes - ugh). My room is ocean blue, beacuse both H and I wish we were in a beach house someplace (we're in the mountains), and I've decorated it with sand dollars and seascapes and palm trees, white curtains. We just got a Temperpedic california king sized bed, so it's almost all bed! But I love it!
