My name is Niecy.
Since I had Ayaan I have no clue what my hobbies are. I guess fussing, worrying, nagging, and pretending to clean. Oh, my biggest hobby is running behind my 16 mos. old.
It's kind of cold and sunny.
This weekend I delivered Avon orders, hung out with my mom who came to spend the night Saturday, and went to my friend Amphon's house for a visit.
My plans for the day - deliver Avon orders and work. Tomorrow is Lamont's b-day and I'm so excited.
Hobbies: Gardening, music, READING, loving my dogs, walking/hiking, camping, & lately working out at Curves.
Weather today: dreary gray and foggy; I think we're expecting some rain this week. About 35F degrees.
This weekend: Took my 16dd shopping for 'cruise' clothes. She's so hard to shop with and she had her BF come with us, which will not happen again. We were able to agree on some cute outfits, but I probably spent almost $300 total and she still needs 2 pairs of shorts! And flip flop sandels. Ugh. The only stuff she wears are jeans, t-shirts and big baggy sweatshirts, so we were really starting from scratch. This weekend I also had to wipe out my hard drive at home and reload everything - not fun. We lost all our pictures because I've gotten lazy about backing up my data. Then, when I went to reload our Microsoft Works programs, I didn't have the case so I didn't have the Key Product Code, so I wound up having to go buy a whole new program for $90. At least there is a $20 rebate.
Plans for the day: Well, I was up at 6:15 and went to curves for 40 minutes. Then I went back home and had breakfast and now I'm at work. Fortunately, I have nothing lined up this afternoon so I can go home and do some cleaning that I neglected while out shopping with my dd! Then, I plan on an early shower and some chilling time with H.
Niecy, I remember when my whole everything revolved around my two dd's. It's so hard to carve out time for yourself in those early years. I read a lot of books after they went to bed at night, but as for taking up an actual hobby, I didn't have the time or the stamina. It's only the past few years that I've finally found myself with some leftover time for ME!! And I'm not complaining, I wouldn't trade anything for those early years when it was just me and my girls - I think it's laid the foundation for the wonderful relationships we share today!
Have fun with the (big) birthday boy tomorrow - ;o)

What's the weather like there now? I don't know. There are no windows in our building. It has been in the 50s the past week but I think that warm spell is over and we're back to more normal weather, like high 20s and snowing. It snowed about an inch overnight.
What did you do over the weekend? Worked Friday and Saturday night. DD was up for three hours screaming in the middle of the night Friday so I woke up with a horrible headache and tension throughout my body. Didn't get up until 1 and had to be to work at 2. Sunday we went to a small welcome home party for two buddies who were in Iraq.
