It's so quiet here and we haven't had a roll call in a long time, so I think it's time we had one!

My stats:

What state do you live in? CT
What has the weather been like? Crappy - raining all weekend, decent during the week - Perfect for the working mother (ugh)!

Are you married or single? Married, 9 years in August.

Do you have kids? Yes. If so, how old are they? 17dd, 15dd.

If you have pets, what kind do you have? We have two cairn terriers, 5 and 3.

Do you have any hobbies? Not really, unless you count baking & reading. I would love to take up painting or drawing again, but I don't have the time right now. Oh! I forgot Gardening - Duh.

Dear heartsandroses, So you are getting a lot of rain too? We have had it day and night and are not used to it plus it may ruin some of the crops. Everything is drenched. I am not sure if this is a hobby or not but there is nothing I like better then to put in a CD and take off in my car. I have a new vehicle and have had trouble keeping it clean. God has washed it about 10 times since I purchased it. LOL. That rain gets old after awhile. It rained all night and is still coming down. I think baking and reading qualify as hobbies. They are things you enjoy. Have a great day. MaryAnne

We're getting plenty of rain, but mostly it just LOOKS like it's going to rain, you know, just gray and dreary out. It normally should be about 70's in the daytime, 50's at night by this time of year. Typically, Mother's Day is when I plant my veggies outdoors, but I can't this year - it's just too cold. It's only 56 out today and last night it went down to 38!

I can't wait for HOT weather. I think I will catch a matinee this weekend - nice way to spend a rainy day. Have a great Mother's Day!

Hi Kathy,
I live in Northern Vermont, not far from the Canadian border. The weather has been in the 50s and sometimes 60s so far. I am married with six kids ages 15 a girl, 13 a boy, 10 a girl, 9 a girl, 7 a boy and 5 a boy. We have a rabbit, cat and hamster so far. I love to garden, read books, sew and jog. Guess that is it.

Have a great weekend,
Kim

Yeah, Mother's Day will be rained out this year, but no worries. Since I am the honoree of the day, I can get away with being lazy, reading my book and ordering everyone else around - LOL

Time spent cooking with your dd sounds great. I love cooking and baking with my daughter -the one shared joy! Well, that and when I'm spending money on them at the mall....;0)

Think shopping at the mall with my daughter is a hobby for me too as we seem to both get great pleasure out of it!!! Love baking with the kids or by myself as well.
