Thursday...Update........

Sierra's icp counts continue to hold well on their own with the shunt turned off, but the surgeon wants to wait one more day. I know this is the right and safest thing to do, but waiting is hard. So, tomorrow is the day! We don't know what time yet.

Took husband for his cardiac stress test early this morning...across town...only to find out that he got the date wrong, it is Thursday of next week!! That's actually a good thing, though, for he still isn't feeling well. He's better than yesterday, just not well yet.

I'm staying home today as things are calm in the hospital. So tired, will take a nap in a bit. I'll get to cook tonight..Yay!! Gee..never thought I'd say Yay to cooking!! LOL!! After my nap, I'm heading over to Target for my exercise walking. Feels good to be "normal" again for a day.

Aj was in a drug induced coma for 3 weeks...then the surgeries. Hated the hurry up and wait!! Is so stressful!! Make sure you make time for yourself too.

Yes god give us what we can handle...but sometimes i think he needs a new file clerk as there is a lot of stuff that gets shoved in my file!! Here if you need to talk.

Yes, you sure have been through the agony of a child with a severe head injury too!! Our prayers include that her mind will be totally in tact when she awakens. Tomorrow will be one week since the collision. My gosh, you had to wait three weeks!! Stressful and tiring!!

Thank you so much for these updates Donna,
I can't tell you how much you all have been on my mind.

Thanks Hugs!!

Glad DH is feeling a bit better & yes sounds like next week will be better for that.
Now don't you go catching what he has/had

So far I'm feeling fine...knock wood!!

Waiting is hard but sounds like waiting for the surgery tomorrow to be safer is smart.
Course we want all the details/updates after the fact.

I'll fill y'all in when I know more and get back home,
assuming I even get to go depending on the weather.

Wow on your possible weather tomnorrow??
Sure hope not so you can be at the hospital.

Me too!!

LOL on you cooking tonight

LOL..does sound odd!!

Whacha making?
Enjoy your nap & your *normal* day today :)

I made lemon herbed chicken tenderloins, mashed pots & mixed veggies. It sure tasted good!!
