Oh I will NEVER forget Baron..& neither will anybody that ever came in contact with him...he was just that kind of dog ...kwim ?! I dust off his pine box w/his ashes in it & I say hello to him..(don't think I am a whacko) !!! lol He was our 150 lb lovable lap-dog....yes..he was ALWAYS in my lap...my legs would go to sleep...but..I would never tell him to move....lol !

Baron was a German Rottweiller...the german breed has the mahogany color markings...the American Rotties have tan markings. He was expensive...but turned out to be WELL worth the $$ !!

glad he had a wonderful life with a good family that loved him so well.

yes our dogs had wonderful lives too. We never got anymore pets. Hard to care for when we go on outings.

We also had other pets my son enjoyed...toads, hamsters, and guinea pigs. He is not into them anymore.

Glenda....our Baron was a Mother's Day present too....but, I picked him out...he came over & untied my shoe & peed on dh's boot....I said yup...he is marking us as his family....soooo 3 days later, he came home to his forever-home !!

I realize bout the rescue dogs...my dd's have rescued 3 dogs...BUT...I just can't do it again....plus we are just getting used to our freedom....we go away alot on the Harley......plus...busy w/ the munchkins. Sooooo saying for now...no more dogs in this household...as much as I love them...Another thing...I noticed since Baron is gone....my asthma has improved significantly.....hmmmmmm !!!!!

water dragon?? you mean lizard?

yes when we had the guinea pigs and hamsters , it was hard to find someone to care . My mother refused that idea.

yes on the outings....one enjoys just taking off and not worry about the pets.

you think the asthma was the connection? oh understand...glad you can breathe easier now.

they do tie you down...for sure. we have a good kennel near us when we need it.

We took our prince to a kennel in regina a couple years ago. this guy pulled up with a bull dog in the side car. he had the leather cap, goggles on and looked so sweet. he was going to doggie day care for the day lol. Everytime i think of that scene i think of you
