I think my 17dd has caught the Senioritis Bug - ahhahaahhh!! She may also have a touch of the Springtime Fever. Her school year was extended due to snow days so it's not over until NEXT Monday! She's been stretching her curfew and staying after school to meet up with friends, swimming at the lake, trying to make more time with her boyfriend. I think this Summer may be a lesson in limitations? LOL-

H is still a little testy with 15dd, but he's a little gotten better. I think he's mostly tired and stressed with his work and so his patience is shorter these days as well. As we all fall into out Summer schedules, I'm sure things will be better.

My mother wants to come to my house again, stay for 2 more weeks. I called my sister who she lives near 3 times and she has yet to call me back. I wanted to invite them all up for a few days and then my mom can just stay and I will drive her home. It's a 5 hour drive and I just can't do it twice, I was hoping my sister would drive her up or at least meet me halfway - gas is so expensive. Anyway, keeping my fingers crossed that my sister will call me and be amenable to a compromise.

Oh to be in high school again. I wouldn't go back for anything. lol.

Nothing is really worrying me this Wed. except money. We're broke as a bad joke. :-( My mom wants to go to South Carolina this weekend and I don't want to mooch off of her the entire weekend. Plus, if my other kids (besides Ayaan) wants to come then that will be an even bigger expense. My brother is competing in track up there this weekend. My mom is going to try to get in touch with friends that live in Charleston to see if they "insist" we stay with them. lol.

Dear Kathie, I came home from work and found a message from my sister-in-law from Northern Calif. She is visiting in Southern Calif and wants to visit me this weekend. The house is not ready for visitors as I have been working an 11 day stretch at work. Do you think it would be alright to tell her that I will go visit her after I return from New Jersey? I will have 2 weeks vacation left. I want to see her but due to having 2 late shifts this weekend there would be little quality time. I am tired just thinking about what to do. I do not go to New Jersey until July 31st so up until that time I will work. What should I do? MaryAnne

If I were you (and I know you didn't ask for my advice) I would tell her the situation. If she's understanding, she will be satisfied with the two weeks you will be able to spend with her. HTH!

Well since we needed to find a place to live ASAP we jumped on this place, because it's so big...3 bedroom duplex and the rent is fairly cheap for a place this big. Well it needs some work done to it. Rooms need painted, carpets need scrubbed, etc. We got all the rooms except for Caitlyn's room painted, and all the carpets except the dining room is done. Also who ever lived here before us, made sure all the light bulbs were burnt out, so we had to go and buy 3 packs of light bulbs and used every one of them. Then our bathroom light bulb is a different kind and cost $6 just for one light bulb so we haven't gotten a light bulb for our bathroom yet. We only have a fridge right now, since all our other places already had a fridge and stove. Thank-god for the George Foreman and Microwave. All the utilities wants a hook-up fee and our gas company wanted $90 just to turn the gas on which won't be turned on till Monday!! Then our landlord prorated our rent so we have to pay rent again on the 5th. Seems like everything is being thrown at us all at once. Our cell phone bill is due, our car insurance and renter's insurance is due. It's been rough, but I know in time everything will be paid and we'll be back on track again.

I have a lot of worries right now and one of them is that I am still behind on some posts, but I will be caught up by tonight.
