I don't make any New Years resolutions because I usually end up breaking them by day two.
I have a couple.....
1.) To lose weight, I've been preparing by cutting back on pop, etc but after New Year's I'm going on a strict diet and I'm going to exercise reguarly, my mom got me an exercise DVD "walk away the pounds" and my grandma is "suppose" to be giving me her treadmill AGAIN.
2.) Save money. We eat out a lot and with me going on a strict diet I don't want to eat out anymore, or only do it occasionally and NOT to fast food like McDonald's. So by doing that we'll also be saving money. I would like to start putting money in the bank and putting money aside to pay for the taxes and title transfer of the 2nd car we're planning to get this spring.
3.) Get a part-time job......my heart is set on a 2000 or 2001 Dodge Neon, but we could only put half down so I want to get a part-time job to pay for the rest of the car and cover insurance, and to have some money coming in from me, instead of just Chris bringing in the money and this way come Spring Caitlyn & I will have a car of our own and we won't have to stay stuck in the house while Chris is at work.
4.) Go back to college.....I plan to start this fall, and I'm going to be a Medical Assistant. I hope to have the car paid off by then because I will probably quit my job and focus on college full-time. This is my dream to go back to college after being at Penn State for 2 years for nursing. I want to start a career now, so that's why I'm going to be a Medical Assistant, then I'll go back to finish my nursing degree.
Those are my 4 main goals/New Year's resolutions and I plan to stick to them, or at least the 3 of them (losing weight, getting a part-time job and going back to college) I need to start doing things for myself, and I hope to do that this year in 2006!!!!!!

Well, I guess I do try to make New Year's Resolutions, if only to remind myself where I want to be in life, even if I can't get "there" right away.
Lose weight - 30 lbs.
Improve my listening skills (esp. when it comes to Lamont)
Stop worrying about things I have no control over - money
Take the time to pamper myself - hair, nails, a little make up
Pay off bills
Get into position to buy a house
Be a better friend
Be punctual to appointments and work
Increase my Avon business so I'm bringing in $500 in sales per campaign (got to get started on that...)
